Be grateful to Awolowo for jumping start your lives with £20.

Be grateful to Gowon for not lining all of you up and exterminating all of you for your sacrilegious crimes of killing our leaders and rebelling against the Republic.

Be grateful to Effiong for allowing common sense to prevail over hollow chest beating by surrendering jejely, instead of allowing the almighty but merciful Nigerian Govt to bomb you into extinction.
See frustration... No go die untop Igbo matter... grin.
Yeah we survived and we are rocking life to the fullest if you don't like it sue yourself and sentence yourself to either death or by firing squad..

You should know that old eastern population weren't the one that went to offensive....
Gowon breached the aburi Accord and announced hostilities on old eastern population and artillery.. They have no option than to prepare for defense in a short period.
They have provisions but surely wasn't enough, the provisions that was ordered where hijacked or seized enroute biafraland.

Nobody is calling for war in Igboland and we are not praying for such but that doesn't mean the eastern population should let their guards down they ought to achieve food security with high tech technologies for any eventualities just like history Nigeria is once again highly divided...

Maybe next civil war will be from other zone maybe SW against Nigeria or northerners s against Nigerian... While we do the watching, and supply food to whomever is winning the war.

omofunaab:
There you go again, Yorubas are coward bla bla bla

Yet your grandfathers were urinating at their pants at the mention of black scorpion. Major adekunle was about to wipe you out if not that you surrendered to another yoruba man.

You should be grateful to the yorubas for your survival today, we could have taken over the properties you left here but most yorubas gladly took care of the properties while the way was going on and it was returned to you guys after the war. That's why many of you were able quickly adjust back to your previous financial situation. When Germany lost the war, they were made to pay reparations, so also Japan, Japan was punished with lots of restrictions. That's the conventional way to prevent people from starting needless wars .but gowon said No Victor No Vanquished . You are here praising yourself for one stupid resilience, Fg spent huge amount of money giving amnesty to your grandfathers so they could restart their life. Fg spent huge amount of money on reconstruction and rehabilitation. it won't have cost the FG anything to make sure that you guys were suffocated.

You are here showing us pictures of ogbunike, why aren't you showing us pictures of food produced by biafrans, why didn't you tell us that your army was diverting food meant for sick biafran children.

Ojukwu boasted to the whole world that they will surprise us although he did surprised us eventually by disguising as a woman and "commandeering" a plane meant to airlift sick biafran children. He started something but he couldn't finish it. In Yoruba land, our Aare onakankanfo don't run, whenever they lose a war they commit suicide. And you opened your mouth to say yorubas are coward.. If yorubas hadn't stop the invasion of the fulanis southwards during the olden days wars only God knows what would have happened to you guys because you had no standing army. .just young and old chest beaters with wrappers on their waist.. It would have been terrible for you guys.

Don't ever open your mouth to call yorubas cowards again
[/s]

You people ain't only cowards but cunny and treacherous..
Which properties did you return?
Was lagos your land in the first place?
Lagos was the capital city and you have no right whatsoever to do shit at that time.
What an envious and callous lots...

Because of awolowo Igbos that have might heavy loaded accounts where reduced to paupers because of a decree by the miserable idiot that had a well deserved death who wickedly gave Igbos paltry sum of 20pounds...
Oh you mean we should be grateful for such inhumanity and dastardly act?
You are not even serious and likely must be high on cheap drugs..

That Igbos survived today is because of God. More reason why until eternity the Igbos will continue to be predominantly Christians.
Our fight for survival began when the federal troops that ought to be protecting the citizens began hostilities on Igbo people and other Eastern population.

And guess what, we won, we survived extinction, we made it and just look at how far we have gone and know if it was the hand of the yorubas or hand of God almighty...

If you want to share God's glory then I wish you good luck with that bc the God I know doesn't share his glory with any mortal born of a woman let alone cowards.

When we look at the past and check how far we've come, we go on our knees to thank God almighty. Bc no ethnic group in Nigeria will ever survive the onslaught not even the yorubas that's why up till today they can't challenge the north in outright fight or worse war.
Calling you guys Cowards is just understatement. You no dey shame say you are in word exchange banter with people that fought for survival in the span of 3 solid years. God have mercy on your soul bc karma is still a big dam.

And I won't even pray for such for any ethnic group bc their survival rating gonna be negative.
That Igbos survived was through supernatural intervention.
Besides you should read your history to understand the cause of the war and how it started so you can make logical statements from logical conclusions.

LOL. The federal troops where like learners under the might of biafra soldiers.
Reason why there were much casualties among the federal troops than they where on Biafra troops.

Food security factor made Biafra soldiers to surrender if not, no federal troops would have remained to tell the story.

No be whining.

Habakus:
Why does that Deji and some Yorubas make it sound like a big deal that others are living in their region and take up traditional titles. it reeks of inferiority complex.
In the southeast, there are huge communities of Yorubas, Hausas etc living there for decades yet you don't hear Igbos whining like sisies and carrying placards insisting they must leave.
In Enohia,Afikpo in Ebonyi state ( for instance),there are huge communities of Hausas, yorubas and others who have practically taken over the place. They have their kingship and representatives in place. But you don't see Igbos complaining about this. That's why I say Igbos are about the most detribalized Nigerians and the most socially developed.
Igbos are really riddled with maturity. I can't say such for the yorubas who mostly are reeked with inferiority complex. smiley

What's wrong with oil marketers?
Don't be an educated illiterate...
How can you be asking that dumb question?

You have an oil country that can't produce 90% of oil products their country needs in a day, but rather imports. or do they import those product using urine?...
And you are here talking Thrash... Or is it the CBN that's caused that one too?

Just because you wrote long epistles doesn't mean you can't be wrong bc you definitely are and I called you out because you are getting the public deliberately misinformed.

Instead of finding who to blame again why not hold your immediate leaders accountable.

PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy Returns As Landing Cost Hits N145 by Eastactivist: 10:12am On Jan 15, 2017
davodyguy:
There's nothing wrong in what's happening.

Let me quickly clarify before dumbass analyst start talking nonsense.

Where we were

Sometime in December, 2015 the price of crude oil per barrel dropped to about $32 and the exchange rate then was less than N300 to 1$. At that time, the government. Marketers were making profit, without subsidy being paid.

2016 first quarter

By mid January, the price of crude oil started rising, and that was the time CBN started their failed policy on exchange rate. What happened then was that as the crude oil price increased, exchange rate to dollar also increased. This made landing cost of refined products to go up. You would recall that we experienced scarcity till May, 2016 when subsidy was finally removed. Why? Cos product was sold. (PMS) at N87 per litre and the differential was paid to marketers as subsidy.

May, 2016

Subsidy was removed. Exchange rate is now over 300 naira to a dollar. Hence we started buying PMS per litre at N145.

NOV, 2016

International price of crude oil rose to $50 per barrel and exchange rate is over N400. The landing cost would automatically increase. But since PMS price is still being regulated and pegged, no marketer would import a product at N145 per litre and still sell below cost price.

JAN, 2017

In order to avoid two things

1) Fuel Scarcity
2) Increased PMS price

NNPC is now importing 90%. of daily consumption of PMS so that Nigerians would not suffer.

So I wonder how some dunce will insult NNPC, when they're actually saving you.

The only solution now is for CBN to do something about the exchange rate and things would be back to normal.

Price not per barrel is about $53-54 and exchange rate is over N400 naira.

Price may remain $54 or even go higher as we pray and hope for. CBN must do something about the exchange rate and allow drop back to 300 or below. If this is done, things would balance up
You are wrong, oil importers like NNPC are the reason naira is being threatened. I expected you not to be economical with the truth. CBN has nothing to do with this. Let NNPC make our refineries functional that's the only way they can help us. And don't remind me of Niger delta militants, the federal government knows what to do to end it yet they are adamant.
