PoliticsRe: Yoruba Leaders’ Threat Against Fulani Herdsmen Diversionary – Falana by EasternLion: 7:03am On Oct 12, 2015
eduj:
creating pastures solely for Fulani herdsmen in the south would have made sense if their was no love lost between Nigerian tribe's .the fear is that such pastures unless rigidly regulated ,would turn into Fulani enclaves which, might lead to problems like that plaguing jos.
I think it would be better to employ a system I have witnessed (although sparingly) in aba. Some business men their in aba buy the cattle's en enclose them in their piece of land employing Fulani men to tend to them.of course, the cattle roam about but, their is much restraint owing to d fact the community can easily hold d owner accountable as they are land holders in said community.meanwhile, I can't but wonder whatever happened to the Igbo breed black cattle I remember from childhood we called ehi? I think its time our state government's begin making capital investments in agriculture.
Yeah, I even saw two herdsmen driving their cattle into that enclosed area as i was driving home last night.

PoliticsRe: Biafra And Some Hidden Facts. by EasternLion: 6:43pm On Oct 11, 2015
kingzizzy:
Your post has some errors. Ojukwu never went to Sandhust, he went to Eton officer cadet college England. Another thing is this assumption that Ojukwu entered the Army because he wanted to one day sieze power. Ojukwu only joined the army when his father used his influence to frustrate Ojukwu out his his new posting to Calabar as a district officer. I also don't know where you got this idea that Ojukwus father, Sir Louis Ojukwu had any doubt that Ojukwu was his son. Have you seen pictures of both men? Ojukwu was a carbon copy of his father. It is also untrue that Ojukwu was abandoned by his father. What happend was that Ojukwus father initially left Ojukwu in the North with his monther while he worked in Lagos, it wasn't until Ojukwus father became financially strong that he sent for them. Many men still leave their kids in one part of the country to work some where else, even to this day.

One Last thing, the title of this thread is misleading. You should have said you were writing about Ojukwu and not Biafra. Biafra was never about Ojukwu. Biafra was about the right of the Igbos and certain minorities in the south of Nigeria forming their own country out of the British fabrication called Nigeria. A right they still have to this day.

I and most Igbos love Ojukwu for one reason. He fought for our freedom. Win or lose isn't as important as the fact that at least fought when all others like Awolowo decided to become a$$ lickers to Gowon.

Even people in high places are with the dude, he comes in and go out when he likes, even your DSS and NIA have IPOB members in them.

Go to his facebook wall, you will see him telling everyone he is home.

Ntooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahaha.

You people underestimate Nnamdi Kanu sha, go and ask Buhari security details, there is an IPOB member there, or one sympathetic to Biafra agitation. It is not about shouting upandan, since last 2 months, he has been coming and going out, yesterday he made his broadcast from blessed land of Biafra.

As we speak, this isn't about potential oil. Currently, those who feed Nigerians are not Igbo. Someone from warri, akwa ibom, bayelsa, cross river does not see himself as an Igbo.
Lastly I think most state can survive without oil esp in the south. Free money is what's killing us.
What are the oil companies doing in Owaza, ASA Ukwa, Uguta, Imo River, Anioma, Oyibo, Anambra, what is that oil well doing beside Aba.
What of all the gas being suck from Abia, Anambra and IMO doing?

Thunder blast your head, parasites.

This is where I try to make distinctions between ND and the Biafrans.

While the ND has a very reasonable and legitimate cause they are fighting for(I just may not like how they go about it) the Biafran on the other hand has a different power mongering cause they're fighting for.

Honestly if I had my way I would put a stop to the useless and irresponsible sharing of oil proceeds. Let everyone fend for themselves.
The ND you are trying to give distinct advocacy for is Biafraland.
Stop all this your division, it is no longer selling.

The likes of you see Igbo speaking Biafrans as your problem, while others rape you doggy and useless the resources yet can't use it to make even their own lives better.

PoliticsRe: Navy Denies Killing MASSOB Members by EasternLion: 9:31am On Sep 06, 2015
DaBullIT:
I knew it was a lie, I argued it was a lie

If indeed it happened I'm sure Navy will say they are investigating and no bager can do anything until they conclude investigation

My point is Navy will admit to it
Oga, I know you don't want Biafra to be restored, but don't use people's life to play.
These guys shot dead 3 at a spot, and many more had gun wounds, some might not walk again.
These things are on video, the way your police and navy shoot unarmed people isn't good, my friend was there when it happened, he got injured while trying to lie down from bullets flying around.

The issue here is that it was the army that came and cautioned the navy, because even our members passed many army and Police checkpoints from Nkpor junction to Head bridge, and no one shot anybody.
One policeman said he was shocked that navy later shot IPOB members because they were actually drivng behind them before turning back.

Why are we saying all that, remember the war in North East was escalated by some trigger happy police officers and the soldiers are the one taking the bullets from them, these same soldiers started shouting at the navy for trying to cause problem for them.

Navy is denying because they know what happened to the foolish policemen in Aba, I don't want to enter into that. We are doing our stuff peacefully, we want no troubles, but as they killed those 3 young guys, we know the navy unit that did it, and they know they are in one big mess already, that is why they are denying.
