DollarLanda: ...and can you boldly swear that "all" your family members (who are made) made their money in Nigeria?
Think well before you answer and try not to answer with your childish emotions. Guy, you don't need to travel abroad before you enjoy life. What you needed is money, and you will enjoy yourself here in this country even more than most people in the UK. 80% of Nigerians abroad don't even enjoy anything aside from doing menial jobs and going back to the house to sleep at night and still continue the same thing the next day. Well, I am in Nigeria, and I earn in dollars and can afford anything I want to, so why do you think I still need to go abroad to achieve my dream?? |

JetStar: Even in the UK and US people still stream matches illegally without much consequences. what the copyright holders are after is the person who is offering the content illegally once they can get that person they will significantly impact the ability of people to stream matches illegally. As the popular saying goes strike the shepherd and the heard will scatter. in the US or UK, they can only do that using VPN, otherwise their ISP will sent a warning message to them if they stream on any illegal website |

Another reason why you should stay in Nigeria. You will never go to jail for streaming any football match illegally. |

galantjoe: The op has shot first gun on this topical issue. The op area is mainly save and start business.
My advice as a paid employee that had worked for 20years is to Save regularly, after getting to certain amount. Invest in land. Don't save only in bank's accounts but open retirement savings account (RSA) with pension fund administrator (PFA) and save there too. Their returns are impressive. You can also in mutual funds. Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Ltd is there to help you. Their return of investment (ROI) is superb.
My point is that you should not have one savings or investment vehicle, multiple avenues and options are good because it offers better ROI and diversified portfolio that are hedged against risks.
I currently have good balance in my pension acct, good balances in mutual funds and bank's savings account and some plots of lands I have a pension account that my company paid my monthly pension allowance to. Is it possible for me to pay to that account by myself?? If yes, how to do that please |

Kay17: I hope you understand that CBN spends hundreds of millions of dollars to maintain a particular exchange rate. The CBN does not set exchange rate by mere fiat.
The dollars to be spent in doing better things like investing in your economy is used to prop up the naira. since they removed it, what better thing have you seen they did? Samething with the petrol subsidy. All end up in their pockets leaving the masses to suffer for nothing |

Sellfish: D light wey e no chop when u off am, e go chop am when u on am because the compressor will run continuously until desired temp is attained
Meanwhile a fridge that's left on will consume very little power when it reaches desired temp, because compressor will only be cycling on for a very short duration it is just like switching off your mobile data to save your data subscription. It is still going to take exactly same megabytes once you switch it on because all the messages will enter at once and still take same amount of data if you leave it ON |

with the rate the power supply is so stable, even if they increase it to 300naira per kilowatt and can maintain the current power stability, it is so fine by me. the last time they took our light which only lasted for 1 hour was almost 2 weeks ago. and this has been going on for more than 5 months. my generator is rusting now because there is no need for it again |
