This Post Will Enlighten You On How To Register And Get NYSC Exception Certificate...Most Especially For Part-Time Graduates.

WHAT IS NYSC EXEMPTION LETTER / CERTIFICATE?

NYSC Exemption certificate allow you to get a job anywhere NYSC Certificate is required in Nigeria.
NYSC Exemption certificate and NYSC Regular Certificate have no difference, provided you have any of them.

NYSC Exemption Certificate is meant for Graduates of Part-time programme [ or Full-time above 30years] in the Nigerian University or Polytechnics.
The Exemption certificate is to show acknowledgement of NYSC in their programme of study.
This means, it stands as acknowledgement letter or certificate that the National Youth Service Corps is aware that you studied and graduated in your school but could not go for the federal youth service due to your kind of programme.

Those who graduated from Institutions outside Nigeria, (Foreign-trained graduates), are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following documents:
West African School Certificate(WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent; or High School Diploma or its equivalent.
First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate (Second Degree or Ph.D not necessary).
Transcript of the first Degree or HND.
International travelling Passport showing data page and date of departure for the course of study.
Unlike in the past, Foreign-trained graduates should NOT visit NYSC Headquarters, Abuja for verification of their documents. This exercise will now be done at the Orientation Camps. STEP 2:
After the payment of Acceptance fee, necessary documents will be printed and with this you can start your clearance process.

STEP 3:
After you have printed your documents including your Medical Forms, Now, you are to fill your own portion of the Medical Form and submit the remaining portion at the LASPOTECH MEDICAL Center in Ikorodu Campus.
This will be filled and signed by the Medical Director.

STEP 4:
After your medical certification, you are then required to visit your school officer (visit your Department to ask) for your proper fresh student's clearance.
STEP 5:
Remember, after the above steps have been taken, you are also required to go through your departmental clearance...but for now, you can start recieving lectures.

All candidates who participated in the 2017 NECO GCE examination, should note that they can now check their results online via the neco result checking portal.
