Had my interview some months back and was denied but have being trying to reach book I was told I had to wait for the embassy to deny my appointment before I can create a new one. Would appreciate if I can get response from anyone that has gone through the process

I was denied under 214b and was told I can apply for new appointment with my profile till the embassy goes on it to deny the application before I can crate a new one. was informed by a customer care representative. I would appreciate if anyone has gone through such experience

I would advice you show both that way it shows you have being making money from your profession and you just needed a helping had but you must be able to defend his financial status well. you could go through transcript on the section and you would notice most people used same pattern. am also using same thing

I have received admission for an Msc In Exercise science with no funding yet. The COA is around 40k, I have a relative( not same surname) who is helping.
Should I list him alone or add personal funding on my I-20.
I can either use his account to show the 40k or use 10k from mine and 30k from his

I already got a date before my old i20 expired due to resumption date which was before the interview date , hence I had to ask my school for a new i20 after deferring for fall semester.

i had same issue made paymentnov 1 2024 and up until now paymenthas not gone though, had to ask a friend in USA to make another payment and it went through which did not go theough any of this confirmation issue we have in nigeria the next page is showed was to ask for documentation. i would advice you make another payment and recall the first payment from your bank which is the process am undergoing at the moment. now I have gotten a date and even reschedule for a closer one , so if you know you hoping for fall resumption you have to be fast about it

I've raised tickets, sent emails to Nigeria@avits and lagosNIV@state, called the customer care and used the chat box. They all promised to escalate and I can't see the result.

Please who knows how this can be resolved.

Yes, after uploading the I 20, it took us to preapproval request being processed. And this is the 6th week. They kept on saying we should wait that it has been escalated to the support desk. We did the application separately like different individuals. Hope you understand.

Finish yours and then hers separately. While filling her Ds 160, she would still mention your name as the spouse.
Once we are given approval by God's grace, we would book the same date and we were told that while booking, we should look for date that have more availability so that if you quickly book one, there would still be date for your spouse and you have to be fast about it. Book same date and same time and on the interview day, you will go together.

if you have anyone abroad that can help you make payment for your visa fee kindly do so, I made payment with first banks since NoV 10th and up until today I could not get pay confirmation. this night a friend helped me make payment and it took me to the pre approval page for upload of i20.

pls what the recent payment that goes well. was thinking of using US card payment since first bank payment was nto approved

I would advice you to be patient, I also made payment since NoV 10th and I have being opening ticket , messaging customer care , sent emails but it yet to be positive. it just a game of chnace you might make payment and they confirm early and it might not be so even with the second payment.
today was the first day they replied my ticket , so am hoping yields something positive.

Yes, there are dates based on what was allowed for us to pick from.
Dates from yesterday till the 24th.
For those that asked, MRV payments was done on the 21st of November(Thursday), got to the Pre-approval stage
on the 25th(Monday). Granted approval to schedule on the 9th of Dec.
