The next rated Headies 2019 Nominees List which was released yesterday October 1, 2019 has caused a lot of controversies on social media platforms as Zlatan falls under the Category.

The Next Rated Category as stated by the organizers of the awards, is a voting category for the most promising act in the year under review. In other words, Rema, Joeboy, Fireboy DML, Victor AD, Lyta and Zlatan are all promising because none of them have produced an album or LP yet.

Former presidential candidate and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, on Monday termed Nigeria as a “lawless country” and advised its people to stand up and fight for their rights.

Mr Sowore has been imprisoned for almost 60 days by the SSS (State Security Service) for organizing the #RevolutionNow protest which took place in parts of the country on 5th August, 2019.
