First I will assume both vehicles are 1999-2002 max.

One is an SUV, the other is a mini van

Both have V6 engines.

The sienna is front wheel drive, while the pathfinder comes in 4wheel and rear wheel drive.


I am not a fan of both vehicles.

Sadly I cannot help you with this choice, as their applications differ.

Also, I got this offer but wanted to confirm from you too. The car is a 2006 model Nissan Pathfinder. It would later develop some engine problems and the owner decided to change it. He said that because he could not afford the 4.0ltr 2006 engine, (claimed it cost almost 500k), he now replaced it with a 3.0ltr 2002 engine. Now he wants to sell it to me.

Now my arguments are:
1. Will the smaller engine be able to pull and power the bogus car?
2. If yes,will there be any side effects in the future arising from the use of the smaller engine size?

Your expert advise will go a long way in helping me sort this out please.

1million should get u good car but your insistence on 3row is d issue otherwise car dealers that will get u very clean sedan for that range full nairaland. I'm not a car dealer, I should have help out, But pls and pls run very fast away from quest.

What of a Nissan pathfinder? Probably 2006 model? I heared the 2005 model has some issues with sensors or so.

Goodmorning sir, Thanks for your insightful comments. Yes, I do really prefer for a strong and reliable 3 seater cos am settling down soon and I dont want this issue of buying cars everytime to compete with my already crowded project list.

I want to get a good ride now for my prospective family and then focus on other capital projects
