The 1966 coup was plan and executed by 5 majors. Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna, Ademoyega, Banjor and Ejor. They call it Igbo coup because four of them are from within Niger Delta area. Then Northerners don't know ibibio, Akwa ibom, Delta, etc. All the know is igbo man. I don't know whether that mentality has been corrected even now. The only core igbo son is Ifeajuna so why is it igbo coup?
