'This happened yesterday at the LASU-IYANA IBA Road and as at yesterday, 5 students were in coma and those who got injured at the head might develop mental disorder as reported. The NANS Chairman (who was also in the bus) amidst tears told me this morning that a student activist has lost his leg.
The worst thing about the whole fateful event is that the doctors in the various hospitals where they were mobilised to so as to fast track the treatment are not "doing anything" likewise the Lagos State Government they have links with. These students need help at the moment.I am on my way to LASUTH . Please Share!. More updates would come later on financial assistance as they (the parents of the victims and some student leaders) have raised and spent more than 100,000 naira since yesternight. Save lives'

According to Usman,a man who came out to support Dino Melaye yesterday was allegedly shot by police in Kogi.He wrote.....

'Shot by the Nigeria Police in kogi state under the authority. This young man came out to pledge his support for Senator DINO MELAYE.

May his soul rest in peace. The protest was very peaceful until their thugs and Police came and made it violent. See Kabba yesterday, nothing like this happened. Bello doesn't like peace'.

From the story shared by Jesse,three more people were killed by soldiers who were sent to maintain peace after a soldier allegedly shot  a man dead in Kaduna.

According to him, the GOC in charge sent his boys to calm the angry youths who took laws into there hands by destroying the military academy walls. The soldiers opened fire on three more Christian youths making it four dead.

My name is Dr. Adeola D. Olubamiji and I’m the first black person to have received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada (5th of June, 2017). My Bachelors degree was in Physics from OOU. Because I had a 2.1, it opened the door for me to proceed to Finland for a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering. During this masters degree, I worked part-time as a cleaner and did this after my Masters as well. Out of determination, I applied to over 100 schools for my PhD and finally got a full 3 year scholarship (later extended to 4 years scholarship) at University of Saskatchewan, Canada  to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. While in that PhD program, I worked part-time as a makeup artist and seller at Sephora Canada, I braided hair and weaves for students, did tutoring jobs and teaching assistant jobs to make extra money. This journey wasn’t easy but it’s now paying off. I currently work as a Lead Metallurgical / Material Engineer in an Aerospace Manufacturing Company here in Canada.

The mutual respect between Cristiano Ronaldo and Sir Alex Ferguson was obvious yesterday when the former United manager presented the Real Madrid superstar with his man-of-the-match award after the Champions League final on Saturday.

Real beat Juventus 4-1 to win the Champions League at the National Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, making them the first side to retain the competition in modern era and Ronaldo was the star of the show as he scored a brace to help his side to the win.


His performance earned him the man-of-the-match award.The award was presented to him by Sir Alex Ferguson, who first brought the Portuguese to limelight when he singed him to Manchester United in 2003.

The 32-year-old spent six seasons under Ferguson at Manchester United and built up a special connection with the former Red Devils boss.

Ferguson waited for Ronaldo just inside the players' tunnel where the pair shared a hug.

The Old Trafford legend then presented the Real striker with the man of the match award.He also met Cristiano Ronaldo's young son, Cristiano junior.
