I disagree with you. The delegates from SE should have come out to prove that the SE are ready to be president. They might not get it immediately but it would make other tribes realize that the S Easterners are not minority.

It's not that the delegates don't want Igbo to rule,it's about voting power.
SE doesn't have the voting capacity and without help they would do very little,the delegates already understood there was no plans to offer Igboland any sort help.
I believe this time the politics in the SE will be different.
Even the SW can't even win without help if the North decides to chop SW eyes without help from the entire South and mb they stand no chance at all.

There is nothing such as waste of votes. Support your candidate and make a statement, if he loses, he can support the winner. It is spirit of sportmanship. Osinbajo did it and still congratulated Tinubu.


Besides if you keep doing this your way, you will NEVER have a strong candidate other regions will look up to.

You and your likes don't get it. Igbos don't play politics of tribalism like other tribes, especially the South Westerns do. And the Igbos request for power isn't based on tribalism but natural justice. The natural justice in this regard is expected to be granted by other zones before the primary election proper, which didn't happen, and that is why the aspirants from the zone did not get good or block votes from the delegates. There is no need wasting vote that cannot guarantee a winning when it can be used to support a winner or someone with more potential of winning.

The earlier you all accept that the Igbos are politically victimize for obvious reason the better.

And yes, power is given not taken in a clime like Nigeria which the reason why the Northerns in APC have given the Southerns the opportunity.

Before you say that Igbos are emotional, remember that no Igbo man has exhibited the kind of emotion BAT exhibited at Ogun State, and rightly so, when he felt he was being denied his right.

Until the majority of the Nigerian power brokers decide to cede power to the Igbos, they won't get it no matter how hard the politicians try. In summary, the inability of the Igbos to clinch federal power has nothing to do with them being ignorant about how to play good politics.

So until Nigeria gives the Igbo consensus ticket, your delegates will keep voting other candidates en mass ?

We have lowest local government hence why we have lowest delegates in every primary election

We have lowest states hence in house of rep and Senate we are minority and cannot push for any meaningful legislative

Igbo Presidency can only be achieve in 2 ways

1-- By Consensus Arrangement ( Example in 1999 when it was given to Obasanjo )

2-- By Creating a Solid Revolutionary Party like LP and expand it slowly it will take years ( Ojukwu created APGA for that reason but since inception selfishness have not allow APGA expand beyond Anambra state , it manage to enter Imo state and Rochas Decmap with ApgA mandate to APC in 2014

In the absence of this, why can't the Igbo delegates vote Igbo politicians ?


Over 200 Igbo delegates and all the Igbo candidates put together didn't have up to 50 votes.

Why ?

In PDP, Anambra delegates together with Imo voted Atiku while Abia and Enugu voted Wike.

Why ? But you have candidates from your region contesting it.
