well banks can change their policy at any time, they can decide to cancel or continue a recruitment process. a similar thing like this happened in UBA some years back some batch were called to resume TS and it was cancelled. the candidates took it up on twitter went to their page to expressed their feelings, stating after wasting money on transports and energy during the recruitment process they can't just strike them off like that, and it worked for them, they were called to resume ts.

Look everyone let's all use this strength instead and express our displeasure on every social media platforms, facebook, twitter, emails, calls, text messages etc, let our voices be heard if not our batch will just be brushed aside for a new one. We've waited for 2years and we can't just stand back and let this happen. Ur voice is important, use it! Quit folding ur hands and not doing anything coz as it stands Db even thinks we've all moved on. So time to act is now! If u have any fone number for head office call! If u have access to any of Db social media continue to comment and chat on their posts for this coz if after this year and our voice isn't heard, u might as well kiss ur career in Db goodbye

Make una no worry, I remain your eyes and ears in DB, So far so gud, apart from the contract staff recruited, a few 'experienced hAnds' were also sort after to replace some vacuums but generally db still have us @heart its jst d whole restructure d bank is goin tru dats delaying. I spoke to d Regional Manager (North) and in his words 'do u knw hw much DB coughed oUt for dat recruitment? If it wasn't necessary y will they spend so much in a period everybody's tryna cut cost. Recruitment is a pool and nomata hw long it takes,wen d tym comes DB goes back to dat pool to absorb dem in'.......Abuja Training sch guys kip d hope alive#cant wait2meet y'all

dats not wat it means, d bank have gone full retail with its primary focus on marketting, d ND holders are just customer care reps while Bsc holders coming in from TS are most likely account officers......Totally 2different things in terms of Rank and Pay package + d customer cares are contract staff wyl u cmin in from TS with ur Bsc will b made a full staff

Dere were contract staff in training sch since january and have all even bin currently deployed to branches as CSO(customer service officers) so d former PBO(personal banking officers) who wia formerly incharge of customer service have all bin moved into d business banking segment.....bare in mind guys dat dis new CSO's recruited are ND holders and currently wit d drive DB have taken if u have a phobia for marketting den jst backout of d recruitment process coz dats mostly wiA any Bsc holder from TS will b placed........on d brighter side tho, nw d CSOs have vacated TS we'll soon b invited.....#urs truely

Diamond bank hv just sacked ova 800 staff in d first wave of tsunami including my best friend nd broda in d bank...., second batch of sack will continue next week #so sad

Its norm in DB, I asked around n virtually all d ETs recruited waited ova half a year b4 bin invited so relax n go abt ur norm activities, trust me! DBs d best to work for among oda banks in Nig n at d end twill b worth d wait

I'm a staff of DB though on contract (which was d reason I took d test in d first place). Anyway,I've bin followin dis thread since we wrote d test and haven't said a word but all dis prophets of doom everywia have forced me to...Diamond Bank is currently undergoing a lot of restructure,staff reallocations and transfers etc whch wen done'll create a vaccum to b filled by those who passed d recruitment exercise.
DB sent that message as a reminder dat we aren't forgotten about and'll def b contacted wen all conditions are suitable to commence out training......... so my brothers n sisters quit follwin clueless analysts who are bent on misleading Wit false infos and instead keep d hope alive till we meet in Training school......I'll b in abuja TrainingSch by d way #1Love
