All the “wonders” Alex Otti is doing in Abia State, when compare to most others states in Nigeria will amount to nothing, Yes, Abia state has been backward since creation and Alex Otti is doing his best to bring it out of that backwardness but then, stop this nonsense comparison. Almost ALL the states in the South South and Western region left the stage Alex Otti’s Abia is now about 2 decades ago…….

I mean, the things you are celebrating Alex Otti for, most of these southern states achieved those same things (even better), about 10 - 15 years ago and have since moved on to other issues of higher governance

Ultimately, since the Lagos-Ibadan expressway is a Federal Government road, a PPP system can be put in place to ensure that these heavy rescue equipment are made available on and that would require tolling for sustainability. The removal of the toll gates by former President Obasanjo was the beginning of the degeneration of Nigerian Federal roads down the years. Worldwide, important roads get tolled to ensure long-term maintenance.

Ogun State must speed up the exploration of her bitumen deposits within the "bitumen belt" (which is the 2nd largest bitumen reserve in the world after that of Canada, extending from Lagos, Ogun Ondo and Edo States. The bitumen reserves in Nigeria is in FACT more than the oil reserves in Nigeria) including the Ogun State oil and gas deposits onshore and offshore in order to be able to flex muscles and purchase accident and rescue equipment like Lagos State.
