Americans always looking for a reason to attack. But alot of you won't understand this until we turn to Iraq. |
aribisala0:Of course. |
This is the exact same thing those useless groups are trying to do to Dangote. We are a country that thrives on inefficiency and as soon as someone tries to fix this all sorts of allegations would start flying. We are our own problem and if you think we are not try getting into government and fix a problem that we as a country has gotten used then to all kinds of insults would start coming your way. |
aribisala0:I disagree with you. The issue isn't Dangote, he hasn't blocked anyone from building their own cement factories or refineries. The true problem is the cabal that collects refinery licenses only to build tank farms, ensuring they can access and export Nigerian crude and then import often substandard products. These organizations, which thrive on inefficiency, have never even demanded an NNPC testing lab to ensure quality. This isn't monopoly at play by Dangote as you claim, it's market sabotage by these dubious groups and their backers. What benefits have these established groups ever given Nigeria? The list of suffering they've caused while making huge profits is endless. They are the enemies. If you think Dangote isn't doing enough, raise the $20 billion yourself, build your own facilities, and let the quality of service determine who wins the market.. |
dalongjnr:That's the anomaly they thrive in this is why none of them has ever thought to come together and start their own refineries. They are enemies of the masses they get richer while you suffer to get these necessary commodity. |
Look at the beauty those clusters of trees made on the skyline. |
Look whatever you do in the other room and life is not my business as long as you are not hurting anyone right. But this can never be normal to me. I was staring so long at the picture and my thoughts couldn't just agree with the concept. |
Wait na only Igbo dey Trade Fair? |
Independent parade na waste of money. |
Gotocourt:Na wa o. . Them come dey make am look like say na only Wizkid love him daughter. . |
This evening I done play with my daughter she done even make me dress up as ojuju Calabar. Nobody carry my news o. Okay o make una continue. |
The thing about public service is that to climb up isn't necessarily about how good you are. If you don't have someone to speak for you in the halls of power you will just work your ass off and be taken advantage of. Congratulations to them and I wish them the best on this new journey. |
KiNg0G:Don't tell yourself that man. You are a human being one of the greatest creation under God's green earth. You have potentials beyond your understanding don't limit yourself through your mind. Set a realistic goal and attack it every single day, if you fail don't remain on your knees get up reiterate and try again. |
This is obscene wealth you don't need all these but it is powerful if you have it. I hope he spreads some of it doing great things that would impact lives around the world. But then again if he doesn't what can a man do about It? |
If only you all know what happened in Afghanistan then you will know that all the devils are on earth already. We will eventually implode, the defenders of democracy are actually demonstrating how crazy they really are. How can you defend freedom and justice when you have blood of all over you? How can you defend freedom and justice when money and power informs every decision you make? |
Everyone behaving like animals. |
helinues:Of course, a case study response of a rabble rouser with a profound delusion of wisdom. ![]() |
helinues:I don't understand your point. You mean she should apologize for the injustice she has suffered? You want her to thank them for her suspension like one of the state governor did? If you can explain explicitly so we can all understand your POV. |
SmartPolician:No, I disagree. The state governors have to promote meaningful and incremental development from rural areas to state capitals, they need to shift their focus from large, flashy projects to a bottom-up, decentralized approach that empowers and adequately funds local governments. The key isn't necessarily more money, but better management and a change in strategy. And this should start by first granting full financial and political autonomy to LGAs. Also the state governors can introduce micro credit schemes and grant programmes specifically for small businesses and cooperatives in rural areas. There should be incremental development that would benefit the citizens at the grassroots level making rural areas viable places to live, work and thrive this would lay a ground work for a more balanced and equitable state economy. But what they do instead is share money so that they can win the next election and have a control of the political field for years |
SmartPolician:FG should develop other cities? What should the governor then do? What should LGA do? You think if most of the Governors actually do their work bring in investors that would bring in jobs and release funds to the LGA's people would want to leave and come to the city? The FG is not independently meant to develop the whole of Nigeria that's why we have Governors but most of them don't even stay in their states you would always find them in Abuja. |
Different demons don balance inside this one body. ![]() |
And I can bet you not one of them has ever asked her how she is genuinely doing emotionally. They just take and take and take. I am happy for her since you already did 2.1 you can do 5 so that you can start taking care of your siblings too. |
I don't get you people want them to fight? |
oyeb15:Really please educate us on how a process improvement would destroy the oil sector? |
Sonnobax15:True, you can't just walk into a government house and ask for a job anymore 😂. But the lesson isn't how he did it, it's that he did it. The principle is 'shoot your shot.' These days you can respond to a government officials tweet and follow it up with a DM and also it doesn't have to be a government agency. Just know that the hustle remains the same, even if the method changes. Never think you can't. |
Brendaniel:The problem isn't the tool, but the hand that wields it as a weapon. A sacred text can be a mirror. If a man with a violent agenda looks in, he will only ever see a reflection of himself. I've made my case, and I'll leave it at that. |
Are we saying our security apparatus can't handle bunch of illiterates with guns? |
gogo2479:What strain do you smoke? I want |
ebexofficial:No it's not that deep this was the same thing Geh Heh said when people gifted Peller in the past. That's why if you going to condemn someone walk in their shoes first before you do. |
Brendaniel:To understand how this works, let's look at a verse manipulators often twist from Surah Al-Baqarah: "Kill them wherever you come upon them and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you out. For persecution is far worse than killing... If they do so, then fight them..." The clear context here is self defense for a community that was violently persecuted. But someone with an agenda can take this verse to a vulnerable person someone poor, illiterate, or just alienated and twist it. They ignore the context of "persecution" and present it as a command for violence. This isn't just my theory, I've seen this playbook firsthand. My work involves understanding radicalism, and my team has interviewed extremist leaders and their followers. What's shocking is that the followers often know the Qur'an by heart but can't actually read or understand its context. They're extremely poor. The leaders draw them in with gifts, food, clothes for their wives and then tell them to send their kids to indoctrination centers instead of schools. The leaders, on the other hand, are just after power and wealth. You can see the hypocrisy right here in Nigeria. A certain demographic is easily recruited by leaders. In this same society they forbid music at a wedding, while those same leaders play music and serve alcohol in private. It’s a game of manipulation, not faith. I wish I can go deeper into different use cases but NDA wouldn't allow me do that. |
Brendaniel:This is a fair question, but the problem isn't the religion, it's the politics. Terrorist groups are political movements that hijack religious symbols to get power. They recruit people by exploiting real world anger over things like foreign invasions, poverty, and corrupt governments. To justify their violence, they have to completely twist the faith's actual teachings. This is why the vast majority of the world's 1.8 billion Muslims reject these groups entirely. These opportunists, whom the media call terrorists, number only in the thousands. Now, let's also look at the conditioning we all experience from the media we consume. News headlines often blame the religion while ignoring the political reasons and selfish interests behind the conflict. Movies do it too, constantly using stereotypes like 'Islamic terrorists,' Russian agents, and African warlords as the bad guys, while the West always plays the hero. This constant psychological positioning makes it hard to remain objective. Even when presented with different facts, your mind will still hold on to that conditioned image. What you're seeing isn't a problem with Isla, it's a few violent political groups using its name to achieve their own goals. My goal here isn't just to convince you. I would rather you go deeper into these matters go way back if you can. But while doing so, be objective. Leave your own beliefs at the door and come in as a researcher looking for answers. Perhaps then, you will form a point of view that isn't tainted, but is based on facts and human psychology. All the best✌🏾 |
Brendaniel:You actually believe that this so called jihadist are in DRC to bring Islam and not take Diamonds instead? No wonder it's easy for all these influencers to fool you people. |
