Nigeria used to have four Regions, all four Regions controlling their resources. This practice continued until Gowon came in and abolished all 4 Regions in May 1967. Gowon also enacted Decree 15 that ended resource control. However, the sentence that brought Regionalism to an end in Decree 14 reads as follows

THE FEDERAL MILITARY GOVERNMENT therefore hereby decrees as follows-

1. There shall, on the commencement of this Decree, be created out of the Regions, States to be known by the names in column 1

And just like that, the 4 Regions were abolished, 12 States were created, and Regionalism disappeared

So I just came back from travel last week, and I noticed that almost all the idiots that supported the failed mallam (buhari) and this recent criminal in power, have all packed to the village.

Things got so worse for them that three of them locked their tailoring shops, two have turned to normal beggars and the rest are no where to be found with Thier families being of hunger.
