FOREXMARTS:
Some basic questions to ask yourself before u start trading everyday is this(that's if ur an intra day trader like me).

1. What is my daily risk allocation(DRA) for today? :
This refers to how many pips loss you are ready to take for that day. Like poker game you must bring something to the table daily and if you exhaust it you close trading for the day.

2. What % exposure do i want my account to have based on the DRA and what is the dollar value. If for example you want 10% exposure and ur DRA is 100 pips on a $1000 equity then the dollar value is $100.

3.What will be my average stoploss per trade? This is self explanatory.

bliv me, i knw all abt these calculatns, risk exposure, RRR, MM, i'v bn tradin 4 a while now, bt stil we shd b aware dt d market behaves funny at times despite our projectns nd analysis.

what works for me may not work for u. What is the essence of trading forex when you will go 4 a trade dat will move 500pips against u? What happened to ur sense of risk exposure. You all can bear witness that there are traders that make average of 300pips/week wether good or bad (remember that the Oil traders make average of 700pips/week, here ask Oga Natruetalk). This is equal to 1200pips/month=$1200. When u add ur profit to ur initial capital, u get $2200 after first month of trading out of this u pay urself salary of $500 which even a womanizer in naija cannot consume before the end of the month knowing fully well that he has a target. Tell me, what else do we need to make life out of this biz with the equity?

Yes. 12ema is the most useful indicator that i use to identify and measure volume and momentum in a breakout when trend trading. And, i use XM and Alpari.

The 200 pips is not more than $20 using 0.01 lot size. It can accomodate small accounts. In fx tight stop loss doesn't always pay.Ever heard of trades hitting stoploss and going in your favour? Worst is that some reverse immediately only to get stopped out again.Frustration sets in.

yeah, u r absolutely right. bt d questn is; how many of we traders r keen on readin chart patterns, price actions, candle sticks formatns corectly, which ar most needed in higher timeframes; and even sum can't look at d charts a day without d temptatn to take a positn as regards to d weekly tf which u might nt necesarily tak a positn in a wk. i think 4hr tf is best 4 daytraders to avoid d noisy mkts.

Just focus on the longer time frames. Weekly and daily will do.200 pips for 600pips is attainable.

This is a clear example of an automated trade.
Good thing is you stand a better chance at success than day traders or even scalpers, my opinion if you can analyse well.

weekly and daily timeframes won't give room 4 tight stop loss as most pple trade on a smaller accnts. i bliv studyin d 4hr tf down to d smaller tfs bt nt neglectin d daily and weekly tf entirely can stil mak u a succes in d fx world

careful if you short on eurusd nd long on oil. the 2 tends to go same way *litle +ve correlatn*. m talkin of sweet oil nd i m new here, i hope m welcum on board.
