Hi I'm new to the forum and am trying to trace my Nigerian roots. See I'm now 32 and was born in the US in Baltimore MD to a Nigerian mother who became pregnant with me while she was in college. She was sent to school in Ameeica and was doing some sort of work with the Red Cross. When she had me she gave me up for adoption. She visited me in foster care while she still was in school up until she graduated. I was adopted at age 3 by a African American family. As I've gotten older I've wanted to learn about my Nigerian roots my ethnic group ans homeland.

I plan on doing a ancestry DNA to trace my genectic marker make up. I was posting honestly because I have some pics of my mother from my adoptive family and was hopeful that some of my Nigerian American/ American brothers and sisters could tell me a possible ethnic group by looking at her[img][/img]
