Wrong. That part of user interface on Facebook uses geolocation and IP addresses to assign and tag the profile user to its original location. The user has no control over it and cannot change it, as it’s done at the backend by the administrator.

I have so many them on my profile claiming to be someone from US or Europe. Whenever I check, l just smile and leave them to their foolishness.
