bdon123:Their economy is in shambles - yet, UK is the number one japa destination for Nigerians abi? Wehdon sir! Don't let their politics fool you, the UK economy is solid. You cant demand to be treated fairly arrogantly by issuing threats especially when the other party is still colonizing you indirectly. |
Iamzik:I do agree with you on a number of points. It is definitely reasonable to demand to be treated fairly. However, you cant do that with abrasiveness and ultimatums when you'll eventually lose at the end if push turns to shove... that was my point. |
Wonderful ![]() But, is he indirectly saying that pastors/churches accepting tithes are poor? |
Iamzik:Cutting your nose to spite your face is dumb! Policies are made based on interests and facts, not emotions. When you have sufficient leverage, you can choose to flex your muscle. bdon123:My point exactly! It is Nigerians that will suffer it (to and from). If there are no more direct flights to the UK, it is Nigerians that will need to pay extra to go to nearby countries to join connecting flights. You pay for a service and get it. Yet, you say they are not giving you anything. Understand this, British airways DOES NOT need Nigeria to continue to be successful. UAE just lifted the ban on Nigerians after two years of extensive lobbying (begging), companies are leaving your country wilfully and in droves, airlines have suspended travelling the Nigerian route without flinching etc Nigerians need to understand their current reality and drop the stupid pride and arrogance. |
poiZon:Yes sir! Iamzik:Mr Einstein, please tell us what you know. Who types like this FGS.I do! ...and you understood what I typed just like everyone else You will be worse than Tinubu if you become president. ShiorLet me become president first... then, we'll see. ![]() |
airsaylongcome:1. This thread is about mutilating the NAIRA. 2. Ganduje was not mutilating the dollar in that video and as a sitting governor, he had immunity at the time. 3. Ganduje and his family are currently in the process of being prosecuted by the Kano Government. So, what's your point? |
MIKOLOWISKA:You seem to need the education: Money laundering involves disguising financial assets so they can be used without detection of the illegal activity that produced them. Through money laundering, the criminal transforms the monetary proceeds derived from criminal activity into funds with an apparently legal source. It being useless to you is your business. Naira remains the legal tender of Nigeria and the law will continue to protect it. If e sure for you, gather some of the "useless" currency, make a video while mutilating it and post it online for everybody to see |
... |
NothingDoMe:It is you who is ignorant and hardly literate (such an educated illiterate that cannot make a short statement without insult). For starters, that "policy" was my personal view based on the fact that this is Nigeria and Naira is our legal tender - any other currency used for anything within Nigeria should be illegal as it rightly aligns with current law. Dollarization starts from the top. Nigeria does not accept Naira as payment for her crude oil sales. Let's start from there. How many barrels of crude oil have you bought you this retarded dimwit? Crude oil is an international product with international conventions and charters. You cannot just appropriate just like that except you want to be a pariah state like Russia currently is. |
okoroemeka:The more reason why it needs to be done ASAP |
Unfolding drama. Dangote dropped Malta in a comment out of pain/frustration and now, claims vs denials are springing out. However, not a single document has been presented for or against the allegations. Well, the real truth will come out someday |
Small nyash dey shake o ![]() Keyamo, if you give British Airways Ilorin as you've suggested, it is still Nigerians that will suffer it. Virtually all the states fly to Lagos but not all states fly to Ilorin. Put in another way, all airlines fly to Lagos (sometimes multiple times a day) but, not all airlines fly to Ilorin (for connecting flights) and terminal destination. Santalpharay:First, it is a travesty for you to compare British Airways (and its OneWorld alliance) with Airpeace and its leased planes. Second, what other options are available? Lastly, I stand by my initial position - Nigerians will suffer it more. Can you compare the number of Nigerians seeking to travel to the UK against the number of Britons seeking to visit Nigeria? |
Granted that the EFCC has more serious matters to look into like probing NNPC, tracking evil politicians, investigating all the transactions Emefiele had with Dangote etc... The law is still the law and EFCC are doing what the law has asked them to do. DO NOT deface our national symbols for fun As for the dollarization of the economy, a law should be made to limit the amount of dollars (fx) any individual or company can hold in cash within the country. For example, if you are caught with any amount above say $100, you will be charged for money laundering and be made to forfeit thrice the amount in question with $1000 as the minimum fine (whichever is larger) ![]() poiZon:Everybody! As long as there is evidence |
eagleu:I don't have the facts about most of what you posted here and you certainly didn't have to make it tribal However and whatever it is, Nigeria will triumph at the end of the day. |
Foolishness on steroids! The victim has now become the offender. The owner of the house is most likely richer and now has a legitimate reason to squeeze his balls hard Patience and diplomacy could have earned him a win in this situation. |
Love800:They do. That's the only place tankers load fuel. It is only where they have to travel to that is different now Finally, is NNPC a private company?Yes, it is. But, it is owned by the Government 100percent |
casualobserver:My brother, it's just sad mehn! ![]() One would think that we are supposed to be progressing as a nation alas, the current reality doesn't seem like that It is well! |
Bizibi:Whether these allegations are true or not; eventually, something must give! |
Love800:Our four refineries are located in Warri, Kaduna while two are in Port Harcourt And a depot is like a "warehouse" for petroleum products. The depots used to be connected by pipes across the country. Instead of the interstate transportation of petroleum products that we have today, tankers years ago would normally go to a nearby depot in their state to load . |
Sense pass sense ![]() Except you are not on the authorities radar, they will surely catch you After God, na government! |
Death: our final bus stop in this thing called life ![]() Shower or gunshot, all die na die ![]() May her soul rest in peace, amen |
This country is a mess! Is there one thing that is functioning well in this country? NNPC has monopoly of importing petroleum products into the country and they cant seem to be able to even do that simple job well. Yet, they have a problem with a local producer that will eliminate the logistical problem of the system. NNPC has four refineries, depots and thousands of filling stations across the country while Dangote has only one refinery. I make bold to say NNPC is the real devilish monopoly that's got our economy in a death grip chokehold ![]() Like I said earlier: EdgeUp:Yeye dey smell |
All these men in the limelight are professionals at inventing stories after/to fit the facts ![]() So, the wizards left his mother and are now his goons abi? Babasanjo is a real nigga ![]() |
Poverty |
You'd pay for your belief - as nothing is really free! Simply believing is never enough. What is money when millions have died for their beliefs? |
Congratulations to them |
Death comes to us all. May his soul rest in peace, amen |
Dangote being a brutal capitalist aside, NNPC is just a cesspit of corruption. Tinubu will show Nigerians that he means well for the country if he fires the entire first (C-Suite) and second level management team of NNPC and order for their investigation as well. That is one of the things that can be done to redeem the current socio-economic quagmire |
May his soul rest in peace |
Good thing you've done here op. Bless up ![]() |
