No doubt Basco. By default even Rohr, would rate them very highly. But Sudan will prove the most difficult for us in the group to start with. As far at the title is concerned I would make my predictions after the group stage. But we should always get past the QF at least.
Any team that defends deep is a threat to us. We struggle with breaking down deep blocks.

I think we should stop the discrimination here. We select the best should be the criteria for selection. Not where you are born. I will only prefer home grown selection for underage teams to help many here who lack support to succeed.

However, I still propose large camping and screening exercises from time to time to select the best that suit the system of the coach. Not colour of skin or place of birth.

It is disheartening seeing attacks on our brothers because of where they were born.
It's disgusting and I'm sick of it. Meritocracy bites the dust when it involves foreign born players to these guys.

Republican talking points to black is that years of voting Democrats have not really worked for you. You can take your destiny into your own hands.

Democrats talking points to blacks is that those guys are racists, dont vote for them. you are not black enough even if you consider them. The system is rigged against you

Tim Scott a black Republican gave a state of union response first thing you hear is that he is a sellout, Uncle Tim

Google any black Republican and type the word "coon" uncle Tom or sellout beside their name and see what you find.
From Tim Scott, Ben Carson, Allen West, Herman Cain, Collin Powell, Condoleezza Rice

All these are people who grew up in the midst of poverty and became very successful among the highest in the country in their field because they took their destinies in their hand
Tim Scott has complained about being racially profiled. I think some people were upset with him saying America wasn't a racist country while having talked about being racially profiled numerous times in the past. I have no issues with Tim Scott.
As for the others, Google their names with "plantation"(you could put Democrats and Slaves in front of it) and see them doing the same thing they accuse Democrats/Liberals of.

First of all, racism exist but it will not stop you from achieving. You also make my point for me. You said "they experience on their way to success" also I don't think it's a crime to talk about racism I don't know where you get that from.

Some of you see yourself as victims and it happens here in Nigeria. My company had to bring in some 2.4kva generators, plastic chairs, school desk to share to the communities. When the trailer got into the premise our company is, I and the contractor was supposed to direct them in and guess what happened, the community boys came in to our company and said those trailers are not allowed in unless they got paid. We have to give them 150k because we don't want trouble. We have security men fully armed but when they start kidnapping, those security men cannot do anything.

There are cases you Want to do their roads or connect turbine powered electricity for them, you will have to pay them to do if for them. They think it's their right for the government to just be there and paying them because the government operate in their land.

I don't lie for no reason edi. Maybe I didn't know of the meeting that does not mean I am lying. Calm down.

About the farmers, you can help and improve black lives without using discrimination.
Do people on the right think Black Liberals wake up in the morning and tell their kids not to aim for success, commit crime, not work hard and just blame the white man for everything??
You are right that racism will never be permanently eradicated but does that mean we should not try?

This victimhood mentality shit the right talks about pisses me off to my damn bones! LeBron's house got graffiti with racial slurs and when he spoke up racism that he suffers as a black man - certain folks on the right told him to shut up and be grateful he's in America. Why should any reasonable black man accept that stupid talk like that?

Everyone has different experiences but when you want to write off one person's experiences as having a victimhood mentality - that is a big issue. I shouldn't have to be racially profiled while a white dude who dresses the same way as I do goes about without hassles. Black folks have a right to complain about things like that.

Black farmers have been discriminated against for a long time and even won a settlement which many are yet to receive. Biden and Democrats tried to rectified and they get sued. How does that make sense?

He does not understand sadly. 2022 or 2024 you will start hearing promises mainly directed at blacks, they will be told how the government has not down anything for them and promises. Reparation will echo all for their votes.

Till today Biden has not held meaning meeting with black leaders. When trump did they attacked the black leaders and pastors as Coons etc. Those meetings lead to prison reform and other funding that helped the black community infrastructure wise.

Anytime I said racism cannot keep a black man down in the US they call me stupid and also gaslight me saying I mean there is no racism in the US. The same people will brag on how rich they are and how they have been working for big companies for decades proving what I am saying whether they are lying or not.
When Democrats included a grant for Black farmers who had been discriminated on in the past, who complained about it? Biden also increased funding for
HBCUs.
Why are you lying about Biden not meeting black leaders? He met with civil rights leaders on the 8th of last month.

You talk about racism not being a barrier to success but yet think it's a crime to talk about the racism some experience on their way to success?

This handout statement is not targeted at any color. Romney famously said 47% of the population want handouts and trust me blacks are not 47% on the population

And it's not just black who are on welfare. Republicans call everyone who advocates for others sponsoring their life a welfarist not just blacks.
The leader of the welfarism- socialist movement in America today is Bernie Sanders, AOC and Elizabeth Warren. None of these are blacks..

A black female is seen as one of the strongest people because you are very unlikely to see a black woman without a job while you see almost double white women choosing to be stay at home moms.

How many black women have time to be soccer moms when they are working their asses off? I don't know the stats but I am sure black women per capita rank very high in hardworking metrics. probably Hispanic men.

Regarding welfarism and handouts
Just like this week I have heard a lot of people complaining about extending moratorium on eviction when landlords still have to pay mortgage

How do you describe when you as a landlord have to pay mortgage and tenants do not have to pay rents?

Regarding tags
Read on this thread every example you have listed including welfarist, handout seeker etc and compare it to the word coon. How many times each has been used

There are many on the left here on this thread who take shots at poor southern whites, poor Appalachian whites.

Poverty is not a characteristic of Democrat or Republican. Putting the responsibility for getting out of it is where they differ. Democrats believe govt and Billionaires should be responsible for it. Republicans don't believe that. They generally think you should be responsible for your own getting out of poverty
I don't know about Romney(who I like by the way) but most Republicans when it comes to black voters always spout the same talking point.
Any little complaints about racism must be met with "victimhood mentality" talk.

First, can you cite any source that said Onyekuru wasn't 'good enough' as a striker?

Second, Onyekuru came to Europe as a striker, so that is his primary role.

Third, playing as striker and winger is not the idea of different positions that Mel insinuated. 99% of footballers in the world have a secondary position. Even Moses Simon ended as a striker vs Monaco yesterday.)

An example of different positions is what is currently afflicting Iwobi.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/11/onyekuru-not-complete-striker-says-anderlecht-coach/

I used to think Onyekuru would make a good CF as well.

Many of those hailing these people now called them racists when they were running whether it was Bush, Romney or McCain

That was what Trump told the voters, Do you think these Democrats will not call you racists if it was you? Ben Carson was called a coon, Herman Cain too just because they are Republicans

Even people here who support Republicans are called racists and coons. Its the politics of the left identity politics.

Anyone black must be Democrats

That was why Biden too said You aint black if you dont vote him. Something like that

I actually supported George W Bush twice. (On the night of 2004 election one guy even threatened to kill me for supporting Bush cos he believed Bush was against Moslems), Supported Obama and was even at Grant Park in Chicago for his election night victory in 2008, I supported Romney and supported Biden
Calling black conservatives "coons" for their ideological beliefs is obviously wrong but I find it interesting no one talks about how Republicans call black Liberals "slaves in a plantation".
How many times have we heard conservatives say that black Liberals only vote Democrats because they want "handouts" and "free stuff"?
Heck on here, we have people on "your side" insinuate the same. The resident victim has called everyone here(who I am 100 percent sure are more educated and better off than he is) a "welfarist".
The likes of Hermain Cain, Allen West, etc will call the Democratic Party a "plantation" and I've not seen them get called out for that.
Again, this thing of trying magnify the fringe side of the left and downplay that of the right is bogus.

It was a lottery edi. He said they should be taking more from countries like Norway. He talked about point system something similar to what Canada has.

The lottery system does not bring skilled workers, those skilled workers mostly go to the US through education
Fact is the average African immigrant is mostly successful in this country. You're acting like people who pass through the lottery don't get vetted.

It has to do with skills. No country will take you in if you don't have anything to offer except you go as a refugee.

The visa lottery is what they were discussing remember.

Unlike Canada which has a PR system, the visa lottery is a lottery grin even boko haram shoe makers can get it.

Its not about race, it's about who comes into the country through a lottery.
Trump said he preferred immigrants from Norway than shithole Africa.
This is despite the fact that the average Nigerian man makes more than the average white man - a point you people keep using as a means to beat African Americans with when they complain about racism.
Trump did not care about all that. I don't know why you insist on defending that.
The likes of Lindsey Graham weren't stupid when they called him out on that.

Off course he has preference. Advanced countries will always have more skilled technicians than countries like Nigeria. Even the Nigerians who are skilled are stolen by the advance countries.

Immigrants from Nigeria can be a skilled worker in the US, but many also will overstay their visa.

A Norwegian man is also less likely to do illegal activity in the US than a Nigerian man.

I am not saying they are not good enough base on what I have said.
Good. He has his preference and it has nothing to do with skill. Many people in his base think this way and it mostly has to do with what they call the "browning of America".
They don't think that ideology should come before race(something most of you preach on here).

You should not be worried about that. What he said was true right? Your friends here says it all the time. You too champion the term Akure.

I use to call my apartment in Newport south Wales shit hole. Trump saying that is him saying Africa is messed up and I know you understand the term shit hole. What I don't understand is why you guys can call Africa or Nigeria shit hole but trump can't
You are not getting my point. I could care less about him calling Africa a shithole. Like I said earlier, it is a blunt way of saying how things are.
What I have a problem with is the implied meaning of that statement. He said he preferred more immigrants from Norway instead.
Are you saying because Africa is a "shithole", you're not good enough to emigrate to America?

Nigerians want to shitt on Nigeria and Nigerians but dont want people who read that to call it a shithole? What name do you call what you shit on/at?

Trump has probably not been to Nigeria, but Check posters here and how many mock Nigeria and Nigerians on a daily basis, and say worse things than shithole about Nigeria. He probably heard from Nigerians like you and I about how much of a shithole the country is
Don't get me wrong, my problem with the shithole comment wasn't that he called Africa a shithole(we all know it's a blunt way of saying how messed up things are) but the fact that he thinks immigrants from shithole countries aren't good enough to come to America.
Nigerian immigrants are good enough to use as an example for "victimhood" riddled black Americans to look to but aren't good enough now because certain rednecks are worried about the "browning of America"?

How do you encourage bright talent to come to your country when the former guy had anti immigrants policies like:

1)This week, an ICE statement declared it illegal for foreign students whose schools operate online to remain in the country.

2) In April, Trump put a suspension on all green card requests for those who aren’t medical providers.

3) Yet another proclamation extended these restrictions: H1B visas for tech workers, H2B’s for low-skill workers, J student visas, spousal visas, and even L visas, which allow for intercompany transfers of workers already here, have all been suspended through the end of the year.
Let's not forget supporting the RAISE ACT that would've cut legal immigration by 50 percent.
