That is to tell you how low the club has sank. I was at viewing center for the second half only to meet Chelsea, Man u and Madrid match been air. I ask the attendant guy where's Arsenal's own, he said they, "they didn't air it" or something like that.

Even the normal area where a TV is dedicated to Arsenal matches and where a logo of Arsenal is hung above have been replaced with that of Man City cheesy
The game wasn't shown on TV. Same with Leicester. It happens occasionally.
This isn't anything new.

The formation favours attack more which is what we want. But I noticed that in our match against Burnley, when we switched to a double pivot- Lokonga/AMN, we had more attacking intent. So for the 433 to succeed, our front men must know how to keep and hold possession.
I think it had more to do with Burnley finally opening up a bit and the energy Lokonga and AMN brought when they came in.
ESR does feel a bit uncomfortable playing as one of the 8s though. I noticed Arteta switched him to the left while Saka moved to the middle during the game.
Hopefully he adapts soon.

Me lying for whathuh
You analyse football out of sentiments sometimes especially when it comes super eagles players

I will say it the way it is...a player is as good as his last games

He has not been convincing enough for the super eagles in the aspect of crossing and more i didnt call him a bad player should ejuke start flopping tomorrow will say same....even if he is my favourites or not it does not stop me from calling him out when he underperforms
Simon Moses has been "dependable" for us. Not as flashy or dynamic as the likes of Samu, Kalu, Ejuke, etc but he's one Rohr likes because he always puts in a shift on both ends of the pitch.

Why do you people make it hard to discuss a topic without the obvious namecalling and lies.
When it comes to vaccines I got the moderna single dose not because I should be resuming work in just over a week but because I will be forced to mix with people I cant vouch for .

There are negative reactions to vaccines as from https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMx210017?query=recirc_curatedRelated_article

They correct that vaccines on pregnant birthing genders (or rather pregnant women) resulted in still births or sponteneous abortions.

Meaning there should be definite pointers from Faucci about pregnant women being vaccinated.

The article has now been updated. In the fifth paragraph of this editorial (page 2342), the first sentence should have read, “Among 827 registry participants who reported a completed pregnancy, 104 experienced spontaneous abortions and 1 had a stillbirth,” rather than, “…a completed pregnancy, the pregnancy resulted in a spontaneous abortion in 104 (12.6%) and in stillbirth in 1 (0.1%); these percentages are well within the range expected as an outcome for this age group of persons whose other underlying medical conditions are unknown.” In the same paragraph, in the sentence beginning “Among live-born infants” (page 2343), the expression “were also consistent” should have read, “were consistent.” In the seventh paragraph, beginning “Given that,” the first sentence should have ended, “…limitations in their ability to draw conclusions about spontaneous abortions, congenital anomalies, and other potential rare neonatal outcomes,” rather than “…to draw conclusions about congenital anomalies and other potential rare neonatal outcomes.” The enditorial is correct at NEJM.org

Most case scenario, we sell for a reasonable price i.e Willock and Iwobi.

I like this 4-3-3 Arteta is trying to implement. The main issue is Partey's fitness is extremely unreliable and Xhaka doesn't suit this at all.
We honestly should've pushed for Aouar if we were going to go this route. I still prefer ESR on the left than through the middle.
Club should start planning for life after Partey. It's clear we won't be able to get a full season out of him.

Maddison is a slightly upgraded version of Smith Rowe.
There was no way I'd have picked him over Odegaard. Dude barely creates chances from open play. People looked at his numbers instead of his style of play and decided to shit on Odegaard.

Arsenal U-23 Update

The kids have enjoyed a good start to the new season. Despite suffering a red card in the first half, they defeated Chelsea 6-1.

Balogun scored a brace, M. Biereth scored a hatrick and an own goal from Chelsea's Lewis Hall.

Last week, they defeated Manchester United 3-1 with Balogun scoring a brace and my boy Patino with a spectacular solo effort and a elite finish.

Overall, a lot of progress has been made this season. They sit 2nd on the table 1 point behind City who they play next weekend.

I want Balogun to continue to work with the U-23 and get some play time during cup games. As for Patino? He looks really really confident. Azeez started for Portsmouth as an AM (Call me a prophet) in their home loss yesterday. He saw 59 minutes of action before he was substituted.
This Biereth kid is a monster. He scored for fun too at Fulham.
We have an interesting set of young strikers coming through.

He shows this quality in training according to their coach, he just need to bring it on consistently match time, then we won't have to worry about Ebere Eze's commitment, because they are similar players to me, and Iwobi will have some good competition.
Yeah this Ejaria thing is weird. Maybe Rohr doesn't rate him as highly as we do.

Opinion: Three Reasons Why Super Eagles Could Emerge As AFCON 2021 Champions
kabiyesi

As you set your foot on the majestic Cairo international Airport at El Nozha, Governorate, you're welcome by stern looking custom officers who ensure that you get a clear passage into the country without much ado.

Walking through the arrival Hall, pictures of Hassan brothers, Aboutreka and other Egyptian's football heroes with AFCON medals hanging on their necks adorned the walls.

But from Heliopolis to Tahir Square, football is being worshiped in Cairo, and every single Pharaoh fan believe Nigeria Super Eagles is Egypt's major threat in the African Cup of Nations.

Both countries will again rekindle their rivalry in Group D opener when AFCON 2021 get underway in Cameroon next January, and all eyes will be on Nigeria and Egypt to make an easy passage to the next round considering the strength and pedigree of Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.

While host Cameroon will be looking forward to avenging their second round defeat to Nigeria at the last edition in Egypt, other teams like Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Algeria, and Senegal are expected to parade a crack side that is capable of sweeping their way to the podium.

While the big boys are always tipped to win the competition, below are three major reasons why Nigeria could emerge 2021 AFCON champions.

1. Rohr Now Understand The Terrain Better.

Super Eagles gaffer seems to understand African football terrain better after three appearances at the AFCON with Burkina Faso, Gabon, and Nigeria.

He now understands all that he needs to put together to win Africa most prestigious competition: a near perfect goalkeeper, water tight defense, a well knitted midfield that is powered by goal hungry strikers that are armed to the teeth, and of course, a strong bench.

Rohr now understands how to be wary of injuries in the group stage and above all, keep his best for the last. These and many other factors would be a defining factor in his quest to win his first AFCON diadem.

2. Nigeria Is Blessed With The Right Talents.

Barring any injuries, Nigeria seems to parade the most talented and youngest squad at the moment with some its players playing their trade is some big European clubs. Besides, the experience gained in Egypt will be useful for most of the players that will fly the green and white flag in Cameroon.

3 Everything Is Under Control

Yet qualifications aside, Rohr seems to have everything under control, and he is strictly sticking to his program. He is set to visit Super Eagles hotel and training pitch, while effort is in top gear to pick a training camp in Europe. These are good steps in the right direction.
First point is moot. It's taken him this long to 'understand' the African terrain? Dude got his first job in Africa as far back as 2010!

Who are the people hating on him?

How does pointing out the deficiency in his game equate to "hating on him"?

Somebody made a point here on Friday that Pepe has been unable to get his mojo because he's playing in front of a static and lesser quality RB in the person of chambers; I agreed that is partly true, but that Pepe himself needs to get some things right like ball control, trapping the ball and making fast decisions on the go.

Yesterday game we saw Pepe playing with Tomiyasu who gave a really good performance on his debut, yet those aforementioned deficiencies in Pepe's game were still evident. Even when he was one on one with Norwich players, they quickly closed him them cos he was taking time to take decision which most EPL defenders won't allow u to do.
The fact that Pepe is not good in tight spaces isn't anything new.
The guy was dangerous yesterday yet dude was getting lambasted on Twitter because he miscontrolled the ball.
We know his weaknesses but some people need to chill.

There's a big difference when you have both Partey and ESR on the pitch attacking wise.
Saka needs a break. Pepe should be first choice RW for now.
Pepe had a decent game. I don't know why people keep hating on him. We should be trying to isolate him one on one with the opposition full back.
Auba looks washed tbh. We should definitely be looking at a striker next summer.

Any good football nation takes the midfield and effectively the game from us, I think Rohr should find a way of making Ndidi and Aribo work
Aribo is great. I don't think his problem is dealing with the physicality of the "African game" - its more that he doesn't play well on rugged pitches.
It might sound like an excuse but it is what it is.

Trump REFUSES to back Texas abortion ruling and calls it 'complex and probably TEMPORARY'
Donald Trump wouldn't say if he supports the Supreme Court's ruling allowing a new Texas law to stand that bans abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected
'Do you agree with the ruling?' Sharyl Attkisson asked in an interview Saturday
'Well, I will tell you this: We do have a Supreme Court that's a lot different than it was before,' Trump said, dodging the question
The full on-camera interview will air next Sunday, September 12
Trump also said he feels the ruling is likely temporary
'I know that the ruling was very complex and also probably temporary,' he said

Donald Trump wouldn't say whether he agrees with the Supreme Court ruling upholding a new Texas heartbeat law that bans abortion after six weeks – or when a fetal heartbeat can be detected.

In his first on-camera interview since leaving office, Trump said the ruling is likely temporary.

'I know that the ruling was very complex and also probably temporary,' the former president told Sharyl Attkisson in an interview taped Saturday in Bedminster, New Jersey. 'I think other things will happen and that will be the big deal and the big picture.'

The full interview will air next Sunday, September 12 on Full Measure.

When asked if he supported the new ruling, Trump dodged the question – instead taking credit for a series of conservative rulings due to his appointment of three Supreme Court justices during his four years in office.

'Both sides seem to agree that this ruling is largely your doing based on the Supreme Court picks that you made. Do you agree with the ruling?' Attkisson asked.

'Well, I will tell you this: We do have a Supreme Court that's a lot different than it was before, it was acting very strangely. And I think, probably not in the interests of our country,' Trump said.

Of the new law, the former president said: 'I'm studying it right now.'

Texas Republicans will have to make provisions for rape and incest or it'll be an issue. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump leans that way too.

We need to go to Lyon and pick up one of Aouar, Caqueret and Bruno G.
