Hope you know the meaning of being Proactive. "No be to go school, na to know weiti you go do for school"
For years, people have been shouting State Police, but the government paid deaf ears.
Is good the deaf Tifnubu has decided to listen but hope it's not for selection "election" because the dumb politicians only do something reasonable some few months to the election to gain some dumb people's sympathy.
TemplarLandry: Nigeria is too large to be protected by the crooked Police Force; they're obviously overwhelmed.
State Policing is the answer and our able President is proactive about it.
See this overfed governor. You're supporting Tifnubu because he's from your state but not because he's competent to do the job. This silly statement is from an educated human being... Tribal bigot. I be Edo boy ooo.. my vote na Obi.... Cost of governance needs to be cut down not inflated as seen in Tifnubu regime. And for so many obvious reasons Tifnubu must be sent parking.

This guy talks too much. As a leader let your actions speak. You don't have to explain anything. Both parties have the right to lay their complaints but you can settle it in door. Stop vomiting rubbish everywhere.[quote author=chopnaira post=139685629]"They ran to our party, we provided platform for them. We gave Obi a presidential ticket free of charge, what else do they want from us..."
Why owna no let this dumb APC person answer the question na. During Jonathan, they were the ones bombing everywhere according to their clueless assumptions.

Dpsychologist: The Hardest People to Replace Are Often the Ones We Took for Granted
One of life's most painful lessons is that the people who treat us best are often the ones we appreciate the least. Not because they lack value, but because human beings have an incredible ability to get used to good things. When someone is consistently kind, loyal, supportive, patient, and dependable, their efforts gradually stop looking special and start looking normal.
The man who checks on you every day, keeps his word, remains loyal, supports your dreams, and shows up when you need him eventually becomes "just being himself." The woman who stands by you through difficult seasons, brings peace instead of drama, believes in you when nobody else does, and consistently puts effort into the relationship can easily become someone whose value is overlooked. The tragedy is that many people mistake consistency for commonness.
People often leave good partners believing they can easily find the same qualities elsewhere. They assume loyalty is everywhere. They assume respect is everywhere. They assume emotional maturity is everywhere. They assume genuine care is easy to find. Then reality introduces them to people who are attractive but unreliable, exciting but unstable, affectionate but unfaithful, present only when conditions are favorable.
That is usually when the comparison begins.
Suddenly, the person they once complained about starts looking different in hindsight. The little things they ignored become the very things they struggle to find in others. The calls they considered routine become the calls they wish they still received. The support they took for granted becomes the support they desperately miss.
This is not just a story about men. It is equally true for women. Good women are taken for granted every day. Good men are taken for granted every day. The mistake is universal because it comes from a very human weakness: we tend to value what is scarce only after we lose access to it.
Many people spend years searching for a replacement only to discover that what they walked away from was far rarer than they realized. Some eventually reconnect after years apart and discover that the person they once considered ordinary was actually one of the most extraordinary people they ever had in their lives.
Not everyone who leaves comes back. Not everyone who comes back gets another chance. Sometimes the lesson arrives only after the door has permanently closed.
Treasure people who consistently bring loyalty, peace, honesty, effort, and stability into your life. Those qualities are becoming increasingly rare in a world where many people are looking for excitement but very few are willing to offer commitment.
The grass is not always greener on the other side. Many times it was greener where somebody was quietly watering it every day while you were busy looking elsewhere.

isaiah4life: For over 28 year, I have had the mentality of Our vote doesn't count and it has made me lose interest in either voting. Every election I always sleep in my place and only followed online. Today, it changed and I decided for the first time in my life I will get mine.
My experience will help those who are like me.
=> How Much It Took Me To Get It. Because I was staying at the outsketch of Abuja. I had to do it at Bwari. From my place to Bwari costed me 2,400 going and 2,400 coming back.
THE PROCESS:
I got there on Friday June 5 2026 and the location at Bwari is Inec office opposite Federal high court Bwari. The bike man took me from where the cab dropped closed to Jamb office to the Inec office for 200 naira.
On Friday, there was no network. It was only one BVAS machine Bwari Inec office had. I was so disappointed and I waited from 7am till 3:30pm and that was how I couldn't do it on Friday. With the frustration and hunger in my face, I was given a serial number. Only few of the staff knew how to calm us down. The rest were trying to discourage us from staying around.
Fast forward till Monday the 8th June 2026. I spent another 4,800 naira to the centre. For money I don't have. The staff resumed at about 8:48am. I was there by 6am and The gate was clocked until when the security guy came to open it. This time around there was two BVAS machine for the registration.
A sensitization was done before 9am a staff told us that if you are for a fresh registration you should do a pre registration with your phone on their website. The only issue is that for those trying to upload their photos, it will be difficult but keep trying and if you can't. When you are allowed inside their office, the staff will do it for you.
After sitting down on a stone for over an hour. My number from Friday was called and I entered. One thing. There is no chairs for applicants to seat at the Inec office.
I showed the man my phone application and he used my number on the slip to enter my information and I did thumb print for my four left and right fingers and thumb. He then proceed with capturing my face with the bvas machine. You will be forced to smile or else it won't go through. Guess what? The network was so so bad. I sat down there in front of the man for close to 15 minutes.
A slip was generated for me which I attached and I took it to a lady within the office and she entered my information from the slip before I was asked to use an ink to thumbprint on a paper. I was asked to go and photocopy the slip for future reference.
This was an eye opening experiencing. I started on Friday and ended on Monday. Some centre might be less but if you are around Bwari Local Government Area of Abuja. This is your case. I am so tired now from the pushing and stress. Please don't give up on the stress. It can be frustrating but try.
mgamelia: When I first saw this Jacksons chameleon at a reptile expo my heart sank. He was ten dollars and it was obvious why he was so cheap. The Jacksons chameleon was dehydrated, covered in mites struggling with shed and his color was so dark that he barely looked like a healthy Jacksons chameleon. Most people walked past the Jacksons chameleon. I could not walk away from the Jacksons chameleon.
I brought the Jacksons chameleon home that day and took him straight to the vet.
The vet helped the Jacksons chameleon.
For the few months I followed every single instruction the vet gave me very carefully. The mites, on the Jacksons chameleon disappeared. The Jacksons chameleon got better hydrated. The lime green color of the Jacksons chameleon came back when he was resting. Little by little the Jacksons chameleon started looking like a different Jacksons chameleon.
Honestly it felt amazing to watch him get better.
Every week he got a bit better. He became awake, more active and way more comfy in his home. The only problem left was some bits of stuck shed on his spines.
So I booked what I thought would be an easy checkup.
That's where things got stressful.
The appointment took six hours. My old vet had moved on. A new vet did the visit. It felt really disorganized. I left with more questions, than answers.
Then I Noticed Something Strange A days after I brought my chameleon home I noticed him closing his eyes during the day.
It doesn't happen all the time sometimes.
I know that experienced chameleon keepers say that this can be a sign that the chameleon is stressed, sick or uncomfortable. So I started to worry.
The annoying thing is that everything seems okay. His temperature is right his UVB levels are good. He seems to be drinking enough water. His home hasn't changed.
The vet who specializes in animals is really far away so I'm trying to keep his environment calm and stable and watching him closely.
For now I just want to reduce his stress watch for symptoms and make sure he stays comfortable. He has been, through a lot. He deserves a chance to be okay.
