Was Wole Soyinka Right? Maybe; Maybe Not- Read This! The recent war of words between the first lady and Professor Wole Soyinka, if true by any means, calls for serious caution! But where these statements really made? Because I never heard them personally: 1. My Husband and Sambo is a good people 2. The President was once a Child and the Senators were once a Children 3. My Fellow Widows 4. A Good Mother takes care of his Children 5. The people sitting before you here were once a Children 6. Yes we are all happy for the effort,it is not easy to carry second in an international competition like this one – Addressing Press men after Female Under 19 Fifa World Cup 7. The Bombers who born them? wasn’t it not a woman? They were once a Children now a adult now they are bombing women and children making some children a widow 8. My Heart feels sorry for these Children who have become Widows by losing their Parents for one reason or another 9. We should have love for our fellow Nigerians irrespective of their NATIONALITY? 10. vote UMBLERRA and press your finger for UMBLERRA . 11. We all have HIV. Some Negative, some positive 12. I rather kill myself dan commit suicide 13. My Husband Is The Best Couple On Earth. 14. Even though Ojukwu is dead but his manhood lives on 15. I want to thank my father and mother and even my parents. I don’t think so? But if they were, then don’t you think there should be a debate between this grammarian and Prof wole Soyinka? All For Laughs!!! ( Sarcastic And Humorous) Source: www.edificationinfo.com/was-wole-soyinka-right-maybe-maybe-not-read-this/ |
Many would have noticed the absence of The Polytechnic Ibadan from JAMB Online registration, while some who registered earlier and where able to choose the school would have the slot wasted! The reason is this! The Oyo state government have decided to establish a University of their own and they tend to anex all available resources they have, including all Human and material resources at Poly Ibadan, and some other institutions that are financed by the state government so that is why the poly was removed from JAMB website. The problem arising from this is that it will leave so many student buying change of course if they don't want that slot wasted in their quest to gain admission. And the students in the school are not sure what will become of them as the student in the main Campus think they should go "Uni" with the school and the other students at the Ojere campus are treated outside the case. What ever the case may be, all the already admitted student in the school should be treated fairly and even if the NUC, Nigeria University Commission, have to come into it. Let's just hope the good happens and the bad does not manifest!!! Source: www.edificationinfo.com/the-polytechnic-ibadan-to-be-changed-to-oyo-state-university-of-technology/ |

Officials of the State Security Service, Niger State command, has apprehended 18 lecturers of the Niger State College of Education for alleged admission racketeering. The provost of the institution, Professor Faruk Lawal who declined to speak on camera, told Channels Television that the syndicate was discovered when the school authority on suspicion of a foul play in the admission process decided to change the institution’s admission process. He maintained that the lecturers who had been involved in the practice for more than 10 years were collecting money, ranging from fifty thousand to hundred thousand naira to admit students who did not have the Senior Secondary Certificate (S.S.C.E).
