I’m 25 years old, and ever since I got an unconditional admission offer my father has been determined to sell his only house to fund my travel to the UK. Despite my repeated attempts to convince him otherwise, he insists that this is the best way to secure my future. While I deeply appreciate his sacrifice and belief in me, I can’t help but worry about the risks.

Last i checked Nigeria isn’t landlocked and is populated with individuals having two arms and two legs (for the most part) just like those countries that bother to send fishing trawlers out to catch fish….the same fish they pack and export to Nigeria to earn foreign exchange for themselves!

Where are those obsessed with thinking Alaigbo is ‘landlocked’ as they brag that they have access to the sea!? Why can’t they have a significant international fishing economy and brag about that one!?
