Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is It Okay To Lie About Job Experience (technical Job) by ednut1(m): 3:27pm On May 21, 2025 |
Swealy: Hello People
Honest Question: Is it ever okay to lie about your experience to get a job?
In today’s highly competitive job market, some people stretch the truth—or even fabricate experience—to land opportunities. While integrity is important, others argue that sometimes, getting your foot in the door is the only way to prove yourself.
i have a colleague who was at a final interview for a company willing to sponsor him and his family for a software engineer role but did not have the required experience in a certain area, should he have lied or spoken the truth ! its wrong. Look at this guy below for example. I have a friend who did a tech bootcamp and lied on his resume. He was let go after 2 weeks

dominique: 100% lies. Which country will allow you bring in goods that will interfere with the ones in their markets? They will be sizes at the airport if he landed with them. If he intended to ship them in, did he get an import licence? If he got a licence and paid all the import duties on the goods, there's no way he can sell it cheaper than market value. You think it's easy to take a mega cooperation to court? Those that successfully did had solid cases and the funds to follow through. The story is pure fiction they sell Nigerian coke / alomo etc at African stores in uk/canada . Its very expensive and was not imported to compete with local products. Its for people craving the 9ja ones.
