Bar1941: Being on autopilot doesn’t mean there is no human anchor! Autopilotting only means automation and who does the automation? Human being!
In regards to your reference, did you think the airline that still pays a pilot and a co-pilot was foolish by paying them when they know the aircraft can run on autopilot? My point is when you deal with lives you don’t rely totally on automation. ok just wait and see

I am not familiar with the war on the north by the British why is there no actual picture of the benin wall that you claimed is 10k miles na. To penetrate a wall you need to destroy a section of it. The remaining parts go still dey lol. So where is the remaining benin wall o

I never read that the British attacked kano and sokoto they did and used canons to penetrate the walls. Part of the walls still exist today in kano , sokoto etc. where is the benin wall. Like i said it was a moat made with mud https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kano

Teacup: Hello I hardly post anything on Nairaland but I read posts and comments. My current monthly net salary is 750,000. A relative residing in Bulgaria has secure a one year work permit for me and what I need to do next is apply for the work visa. I have read many posts of people asking questions whether to travel or stay in Nigeria and retain their job. There has been many different views and opinions. If you are earning 750,000 a month, will you leave it and travel to Bulgaria on a work permit. Note that the job is a warehouse/construction worker role with monthly salary of 800 euro you earn 750k but you reason like this. How can you relative secure job for you in Bulgaria Did you interview? Do you understand their language . This is how you would get duped. If you earn 750k as you claim you should be able to go there on visit visa to confirm too. But this smells like scam.

luminouz: Yes bro...but that is still our culture and I won't have that thrown away because of just money. These kings represent 100s of generations of our culture and they have the traditions that bind us to our roots. You would prefer kings of Benin, Oyo and Ife to be deposed and the palaces empty? That's the little we have now as so called westernization is ravaging our lives and eroding us of our identity. The whites conquered us by defeating the empires of old. Should they also conquer us by making us abandon our roots? Do you know the Benin wall was 10000 miles long and 4 times longer than the wall of China? Such facts are lost because we don't care about our history.
I don't ever wanna be like the black Americans or even the Canadians who have no idea of their history. Being black is not just a skin color, it's an identity, an emblem, a story woven about our struggles, our experiences, our way of life. I will NEVER WANT ANYTHING TO ERASE THAT. They are allocated resources and they buy rolls Royce? Yeah, let them have it. Kings of old would have claimed everything, including your wife. 🙂 lagos to uk by car is 7,000 kilometres. But you are claiming benin wall was 10k miles which is 16k kilometres. There are pictures of the benin expedition loot why are there no pictures of the said wall? It was a mud moat not a wall. The ancient walls in kano and sokoto still exist today

Governors can sack and appoint kings then it should be scrapped. Alafin and other kings in Nigeria surrendered their sovereignty to the white man , some fought and still lost to the same white man. We are wasting state funds to cater for these numerous kings which is bs. The British monarchy is still there because they generate billions in tourism. What do these kings generate? |

Chest beating don start again. The people that made money are less than 5% of the total igbos. We saw videos online of the stampede in anambra plus numerous others sharing rice to villagers. Una go dey talk like say 90% of people there are balling. Nigerians had less to spend on non essentials this year. How many people bought cars, electronics, generators and other things igbos usually import? 😒 |

But how come in their old age they appear like sweet friendly harmless old men ? It’s mind boggling to look at these jovial men but knowing they have put more bodies in the dirt than a serial killer.
