Most students are converting to assylum, many of them already paid 1 or 2 semesters fee which is almost 20k dollars and that's gone to waste.

majority of the Nigerians that came via express entry from 2015 to 2022 already had good jobs/career in Nigeria . Papers for them/children, better standard of living etc was the main goal. Many of these people had houses , drivers and maid in Nigeria. If you come as a PR there is the option to return home and come back one or two years later ( soft landing).

I was telling my friend about the issue only for him to tell me he knows the guy in question. He had advised him it wasn’t worth it without adequate funds, but the guy said- bros let me enter first. I will save money for any school while doing this one year course . That was how my friend washed his hands off the matter.
