You can check the guys heading the agency in charge of supervising the betting industry in Nigeria, it is the same people. They have it on a chokehold as they have the banking and the insurance industries. Betting is a multi billion dollar business in Nigeria. I mean, the guy that owns bet9ja just opened a bank. Even if it is going to be banned, it will not be under this regime.
