Good Morning my fellow colleagues.thank God we are back for the new term.Pls,can any of us give me a run down of the schl calendar for this term, indicatin how weeks we've this term, mid term break, week of closure? also,does any has info on hw 2 go abt transfer? am seriously in need of it..tnks in anticipation.

Those getting alert are those in the 7th list or batch. Those who did theirs around 7th to 29th July are in the last batch because they were sent together at the end of the biometrics and we are told to expect our pay this week. so if you did not get alert this week expect next week if not pray o...September something.

Are they neglecting those that did theirs in d month of June?Like ours was on d 29th of June n we haven't gotin any alert since then.Is it that technically, we v bn paid or what?clarify please.

how true is this? If this info is anything to go by, why didn't they collect it during the biometrics

the order would have been to submit the old I.D right at the biometric venue and then collect the new one.

We've already submitted ours. It was a 'fire brigade' work for us...The very day we got the info was the deadline. So we had to run helter skelter to our Zonal office at Obigbo to submit. That was on the 27th.

scrap from Nigeria info news: biomentricks will be ending 2mao ....TUC chairman said he knows most workers has not been paid cos his wife is been owned 4month salary....also a colleague I mean a co teacher also had his say on d news sighting and pleading with d Governor that he and most of his colleagues have not been paid....so I believe nothing is hidden ....but I still insist we do d # pay us our salary

I also got the news. I really show appreciation to one of us that boldily stated our plights on air,it worths commending, since NUT has failed in fighting for our rights. Previously, the TUC chairman said he'll find out why most civil servants have not been paid and that he'll ensure that there'll time frame for this so called Biometrick exercise. My joy is that he is indirectly involve in this plight. I hope this development will arrest this situation.

Can someone help with how the twos complements was gotten

you should take note that the digits are in binary or base 2, so when you add 1+1,which is 2,what you will do is to treat 2 as a digit in base 10 and convert it base 2 by using repeated division; 2/2= 1 remainder 0;
then, 1/2 = 0 remainder 1
the "2" now becomes 10. You write the digit 0,carry digit 1 to the next column to your left, then continue your addition in that order.

For me, I prefer private class. The participant, whether a pupil or a student will have much direct impact from the tutor. It should be noted that we have different learning pace. It favours mostly the slow learners. The tutor carries on the teaching based on the level of the learner.

My fellow colleague, this is the height of false picture being painted by the governor. As it stands now,who are they going to believe,we or the governor?

I do not only teach,I also give a proper guide to pupils and students on how they can excel on their subjects,especially Mathematics. He still repeated it this Morning that he is not owning any civil servant, that all civil servants captured through d biometrics have been paid till date. So,technically, we have all been paid till date,since we have finished our biometrics.

My fellow teachers, in times like this,what do we ought to do,since our amiable Governor has stated that he is not owning any civil servant?

This early hours of this evening. The breaking News we got on air is that, His Excellency,the Governor of Rivers state stated that no civil servant is being owned salary. He said that all civil servants have been paid,that those that have not been paid have not done the "Almighty Biometrics". So,my fellow teachers, how do we react to this issue? Is it assumed that every civil servant,including us,have received salaries till date?

In the Morning, News had it that the new TUC chairman said he'll find out why most of us have not received salaries up to date after the biometric exercise. He continued his statement by saying that the "so-called exercise" has no timeline.

In this case,how are we going to air our plights before this present government? From what I am seeing right now,technically, no civil servant is being owned.I may be wrong,but I need someone to analyse this findings.

I think it's time we "hold the bull by the horn".Let's go in2 calling upon God in this matter, its already out of hand.

This is quite appalling. How do they want us to cope? They worst of it all is that we don't a voice that speaks for the plights of teachers in Rivers state.

My Principal told us that she receive a particular form for all the teachers in our school but she left it at home that we should be all present in skul tomorrow so that we can fill the form and submit at once. we were trying to know what the form is all about but she was unable to explain it ,she only ask us to go to board and and get our file number. so I think maybe the form required file number
