Sports › Re: Why I Removed Enyeama As Eagles Captain — Oliseh by edpunter(m): 6:27am On Oct 09, 2015 |
achicares: since this issue btw Oliseh and Eyeama came up, I've been following ur post, and for me u've been rather subjective and personal about it. making it look like Eyeama has no blame while Oliseh is the devil. Oliseh as far as I'm concern has the right to do what he did as the coach. My problem with him is the manner in which he did it. If the Captaincy is suppose to be given to keeper because he oversees the pitch, then I guess England and Manchester have made a huge mistake making Rooney captain of both country and club. Argentina as well, for Messi, Brazil for Neyma. just so u know, these are all attackers. Beckham was still with the three lions when he was stripped of the captaincy and given the Terry, Beckham didn't cry. Thiago Silva is still with the Brasilian national team, his captaincy was stripped off him to Neyma. Yes, as the coach of our national team, he needs all the support we can give him. If he fails, then like u said, "we shall come back to bite". he will be no different from the past ones. Westerhoff, Amodu, Siasia, Chukwu, Keshi, etc. they all got the support and also the biting when the failed. So shouldn't Oliseh first get the support b4 getting the bite? No follow my post ooo his philosophy's is already yielding interest. |

fairheven: yea ..got your point, but still think buck stops at oliseh table and he bears responsibilty for any outcome of decision not ENYEAMA Yes, Oliseh could have all the answers but he must wisely show the path to his players so that they can all come to the same conclusions. You have to give fair hearing to your players cos they can make or break you as a coach. Too many policies is not good in soccer, fine you have to discipline players but not humiliating them that's not accepted. Oliseh is just a novice in the coaching world so he should go and learn coaching ethics. THE BEST COACHES IN THE WORLD ARE FLEXIBLE. |

ollah1: Whatever pleases him should be done by him. Goalie oversees the whole pitch doesn't mean they should always be captain. If he wants Enyeama out so be it, i'm not a fan of either of them. I'm a Nigerian first and results matters than anything else. If he likes he should chase other players out and leave only Musa, am less concerned. The only thing i want is result, without it then we can kick him out too. LOL. |

I've known Oliseh for his bossy and arrogant attitude that's the reason he was dropped from the World Cup squad 2002 cos he controlled Shuaibu Amodu, he even forced himself to play against Senegal Semi-Finals cos he was graced with captain forgetting he wasn't even on the reserve list cos he had injury and he played WTF? is that how football works? Unfortunately we lost that match extra time and he foolishly resigned cos Festus Onigbinde our new manager then dropped him cos he doesn't want to be controlled like Shuaibu. So he's trying to avoid what he has done in the past to people. #Insecurity. |

ollah1: Listen, the coach said he wants a younger player to be his captain. Someone who would be in the team for a long term. It is his decision and so be it. Coaches makes their decisions, sometimes it works and other times it fails. Why are Nigerians go into this thing? Ain't result what we should be concerned about ? Oliseh na insecurity dey worry am. A goalkeeper oversees the whole pitch as a captain, Iker Casillas was captain for country and club for ages. His tactics of picking a captain is just childish to me, it shows he has grudges just looking for Enyeama's mistake, you don't strip captain band from a senior player just cos of a mere fight and I can tell you categorically that same Nigerians that are supporting his strategies will still come back to bite him real hard. Na only time. |

dkoncepts1: Nigerians don't get to bottom of a matter before casting aspersions. Look out for what happened between oliseh and Vincent. The coach wasn't angry because he reported to camp late, he was fully aware that he went to bury his mom. Complete sports has the full gist. you can Also Google Oliseh is insecure, in his time they did worse so he wants to break that jinx but doing it wrongly. |

JuicyStar: Na who dey talk? No be the same Enyeama wey tear the query that was issued to him in the presence of his colleagues? Now he's talking about respect....Mcheeew. Why is he fast to explain himself now? In as much as I respect freedom of speech, I believe he should have notified the coach earlier when he knew he will be coming late. It's high time our foreign players need to be discipline. Enyeama u have done well for the national team n u will forever be recognized but NOTE u wouldn't be worship. Oliseh should be careful, there are ways you treat senior players in a team or else you will regret it, yes. I'm not there when the scuffle happened but I know Oliseh he's too rigid and he will make Enyeama look so stupid among other teammates. He's (Oliseh) insecure because he knows Enyeama is like a mini-god in the team so he wants to break his wings by looking for unnecessary faults. A wise leader will overlook what he went through and allow him to talk, I thought that's what they call freedom of speech. |
Sports › Re: Enyeama Explains Row With Oliseh, May Quit Eagles by edpunter(m): 5:38pm On Oct 07, 2015 |
fairheven: my brother...i wonder if ENYEAMA can disrespect his club coach the way his belittles SUNDAY OLISAH, so sad I had NFF even cud not caution the silly keeper It's only a foolish man like Oliseh that will trade his mom's burial ceremony for a country that won't remember him like Yekini and Okparaji tomorrow. What explanation do you want Enyeama to give? So his mum's burial can't justify why he came late right? If I were him I won't even bother to go cos it's compulsory, mandatory and necessary to pay the last respect to a Queen that gave birth to a King in the goal post. Well, lets see what Oliseh have for us, I pray he doesn't end up regretting his decisions like Mourhino demoting Dr. Eva. |
Sports › Re: Enyeama Explains Row With Oliseh, May Quit Eagles by edpunter(m): 5:07pm On Oct 07, 2015 |
Oliseh, you are just digging your grave like Mourhino. Same thing I told my friends few months ago about Mourhino demoting Dr. Eva Carneiro that he will suffer that decision in his career. Some people in a group or gathering brings joy, luck, happiness and togetherness when you pursue those kinda being away because of your selfish interest or philosophy's you will regret it at the long-run because they are God's untouchable. Be careful with Enyeama, a good and reasonable coach/leader will sympathize with him cos of his loss and give him that mercy, remember no tradition in the East will allow you to leave the burial ceremony from Friday thru Monday so far na your parents. Oliseh no go make e mama spirit punish you ooo, it might look like a fun to you now. |

marleythomas: Seems he only paid for a ticket and turned up late for check in. Otherwise, he wouldn't have 3 suitcases after checking-in. He doesn't want people to know his schedule and the time he's arriving. He took pics outside the airport meaning he has not even checked-in cos if you miss your flight you'll be inside looking for another alternative and funny enough SAA have 2(two) flights scheduled for a day to Nigeria and it cost only $150 to fix the ticket. If it's very urgent Kenya airline is there to enroute Nairobi, Ethiopia Airline unko? #CheapAttention cos na driver snap the pics the PA run leave am for Airport. Think before you tweet not the other way round. |

Funny Kcee, missing PA & co when you no be gay, South Africa is blessed with endowed chicks that are ready to get along, take a room in Protea hotel transit which is directly opposite where you are standing and chill for the next available flight, it's normal to miss flight. Big boys don't cry. |
