Honestly, I don't mind paying a huge amount to get my packages from Nipost delivered to me.

I had the intention of setting up a gadget business, so I ordered about 40 phones/tablets since October/November/December and up till now, I haven't received any of them.

At this point it is no longer advisable to order from AliExpress items that will be delivered through nipost especially if you are ordering gadgets like phones and tablets unless they are sold under 'choice items', which may be delivered via Speedaf.

My items since October/November last year are still with Nipost and each time I call them, they tell me it hasn't arrived whereas the tracking says it's with them.

Do you know that it's the shipping company that bears the brunt for missing items, through the shipping insurance which they to pay the sender in the case of lost, damaged, or missing items.
I knew sooner or later this will be the case.

I think this might be the case because I ordered an item which is supposed to be shipped by POS Malaysia on the 4th of April, the seller on his own part shipped the item, but POS Malaysia which is supposed to be the logistics carrier didn't pick up the item and it's been awaiting flight since April. I reached out to customer service and they told me that even as at today, the package hasn't left China, so I had to request for refund because there was no point waiting because it's obvious that it won't leave for Nigeria.

Please, is there anyone here that received their LP.....MY packages between May till now?

Seems Nipost didn't dispatch LP.....MY packages in May, unless i am mistaken.

Yes very valid point thank you for responding. My fear is another package arrived yesterday and they both finished clearance same time.

I guess these are Speedaf deliveries. Packages from Nipost hardly get updates to be finally delivered. I can't remember the last time someone posted here that they received their items from Nipost. Especially this month of May. I just hope our packages are safe and secured with hope that they will eventually deliver them someday.

Please, is there anyone here that has been to Nipost at Nahco recently to know the reasons why package tracking have been in 'customs clearance started' for such a long time without further updates.

I would have been there myself, but am always very busy throughout the week.

My packages arrived NIPOST since November/December last year and up till now, I haven't received them. Same with the ones that arrived January/February.
Also, some that arrived April have been in "customs clearance started" and it's going to 2 months now. No update. Please, is there anything I can do to get my packages.

Anyone that recently received their Malaysia post package from nipost, how long did it take from the time it got to nigeria. Mine has been stuck here since, and post office here says it's not with them as at Monday.

I had 2 packages like that but from postNL since August last year and I haven't received then even till now. I reached out to NIPOST and they told me they could not find any information about the packages. But AE tracking says it cleared customs and are collected by local delivery courier. Till now, I still don't know the whereabouts of the packages.

I'm not sure theft is an issue with items that go through NIPOST. The only issue is the delay in processing your parcel. It almost always gets to you eventually, but it could take a long time.

Alternative is to use an alternative courier to bring in your parcel.

My packages (all phones and tablets) since November/December has still not been delivered to me. It's making me worry so much about this. I like shopping from AliExpress but this delay is just something else. One can't really decide which courier to use when shopping from AliExpress, this would have been a way out of it. Since Nipost is a major delivery company of AliExpress, it would have been easier if someone like a clearing agent or staff can help make things easier and faster.

What's the best way one can buy gadgets(phones, tablets) from AliExpress that will go through NIPOST without any hassles and fear of packages getting missing or stolen. Can one have a direct contact with Nipost officials who can help out so that once a package arrives Nigeria, the officials sort them immediately and arrange for immediate delivery to the buyer's nearest post office.

Who else noticed that packages that AE tracking initially says has "arrived local airport" is no longer there. The current status is now "package leaving origin country/region". What is really going on?

Those dates they give is the general average of days it takes for items to get delivered irrespective of their countries - check delivery timeline for other countries and you’ll see it falls between when they stipulate - even choice items get delivered close to their estimated date.

NIPOST is the main issue why items are delivered very late or not delivered at all cos same POS Malaysia handles deliveries to other neighboring countries and no issues has been gotten from them whatsoever.

Exactly, Nipost is the main issue. Trust me, any package that the tracking says"Arrived at Local airport" is already at NIPOST warehouse. Until, the items are ready to be dispatched to various post office branches, that's when tracking is updated, but until then, packages remains with them. The reason I insisted that they should physically search for my items. I do not want their system tracking because they will definitely tell you they don't have it.

Was at their office, went to their customer service and they kept on telling me same stories that my packages are not with them. This got me pissed off, when I know fully well that my items are in their warehouse, but because they have not updated the tracking, they will keep saying it's not with them.
I requested they manually check for my items in their warehouse, but they refused. How can items that the tracking says have arrived local airport since November/December still not be updated. And each time AliExpress is contacted, they quickly advise that you should request for refund. This isn't the best way to address such issues. I have told them severally that I do not want any refund. I need my packages to be delivered. I will keep pressing until I receive my packages.

If nothing is done about this, it will keep reoccurring.

One thing Nipost does is that until packages are ready to be dispatched to the various post office branches,they do not update the tracking.Even if the packages arrived at their warehouse, they do not update tracking. In that case, they don't take responsibility should in case anything happens to your package. They simply tell you they don't have your package

I have 7 packages with LxxxxxxxxNL since November and none of them have arrived Nigeria. I don't really know why.they haven't arrived Nigeria since that long. The ones with BRxxxxxxMG will eventually change its tracking number to a local tracking number before final delivery.

From what I heard,there are still over 1000+ and counting unopened bags by Nipost.

I have about 31 packages with them. I believe my packages could be inside any of these bags. The major reason I know that these "arrived at local airport" packages are with Nipost at Nahco airport is because one of my packages with this tracking update is there with them,but it hasn't updated yet.So I just have to keep my fingers crossed waiting for the time I will get updates about my packages.

Taking almost 3 months since it got to local airport to get an update is a crazy stuff sha - Omoh!

Mine is like that too since November/December. I have been to Nipost at Nahco. What I observed is that all tracked packages stating "arrived at local airport" are already with Nipost at Nahco. The reason for the delay in the update from "arrived to local airport" to "collected by destination carrier" is as a result of an issue with Nipost with a particular client's package which was claimed missing, but when the client took action by shutting up activities in Nipost until his packages were found, packages remained stuck at the airport, hence the reason why the tracking update remained unchanged from "arrived to local airport" i. However, this ssue was resolved about 2 weeks ago. The main reason why packages started receiving updates.
If your package tracking have not received updates yet, it is because the package bags haven't been opened by Nipost yet. But until then, we just have to be hopeful and pray they don't get missing or stolen.

It can't be tracked at Nipost. They will tell you it's an ordinary item e.g mails,letters and correspondences. Items that are trackable are the ones registered and starts with R e.g RE, RT, RX, RR, depending on the country it is coming from. The best they can advise you is to check your nearest post office and you may be lucky to find it. I don't know why AliExpress keep sending expensive and high risk items without registering them. Items gets missing or stolen and they make the customers dissatisfied and they keep on refunding. This is very bad of them

I ordered for phones and tablets. I used Uba MasterCard discounts for all my purchases, but the items never arrived since November 2025. I have even been to the airport Nipost but they said they couldn't track the package stating that they are not registered meaning that items that comes with LP usually comes in bags full of letters so they are not trackable and can easily get missing or stolen. Hence the reason why a lot of packages with LP, LX,LT and so on have such issues

You’re best seeking a refund as it is, you’re most likely not getting the item again.

BTW, have you checked post offices close to you? Sometimes the items are there and they just hasn’t been updated on the tracking page.

Why are LP....MY packages not being delivered. I have packages since November 2025 and up till now no delivery update. Last update says package has arrived to local airport. What could be the issue?

I have orders from AliExpress since November 2025 that have arrived the local airport according to AliExpress Tracking, but up till now, it hasn't moved from there to "customs clearance started' or even "customs clearance complete''. It's going to 2 months now.
Please, is anyone having the same issues and what possiblity can be done so that I can receive my items?
