erad: I would have been surprised if you said anything sensible.
A country was attacked without any provocation from these same "neighbours" by another country that has bases there and you expect them to just keep quiet and be dancing alanta? Lol.
If you drag in a termite infested wood into your home, expect to have lizards as visitors.
At the moment, Iran has absolutely nothing to lose. Is it their supreme leader you'll kill? He's dead! Is it their ministers? Most of them are dead? Is it their warships? Destroyed! Is it their children? Started bombing them already! So what exactly do you expect from an injured bear? It's going to lash out in all directions and make sure it doesn't go down alone. Since you can choose outsiders over your neighbor, don't expect any compromise from the same neighbor.
Iran played by the rules for so long and it only brought them pains. Getting bombed 2 different times during negotiations. Who does that? They have no nuclear weapons, Israel does. They are not committing a genocide, Israel is. They are not bombing schools and hospitals, Israel is. Yet they are the devils. Talking about sovereignty when you allowed your countries to be used as bases to attack a sovereign country. Is that not hypocrisy? you said it all |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Gulf States Meet In Riyadh, Urge Iran To Stop Attacks On Neighbouring Countries by educatedfool: 10:58am On Mar 19 |
IgOga: Iranian regime in fighting for survival they are not rational anymore and they don't have leaders. They have replacements for their dead leaders who don't posses leadership skills. Iran hoped the world will turn against the US unfortunately for them the gulf states have turned against Iran. With more pressure from the US NATO will cave and support their NATO daddy USA.
Iran needs allies and their strategy of attacking gulf states to make gulf states turn against the US is not working. Last night Iran attacked Gaza. Imagine all those "free Palestine" crowd feeling foolish now They tried to make it look like Iran attacked its own elementary school, but the truth prevailed over the propaganda. And now, Iran has attacked Gaza? |

PresidentMUGABE: A viral video of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sparked conspiracy theories claiming he had six fingers, suggesting AI manipulation or even his death. Fact-checks by X's AI chatbot Grok and outlets like Snopes dismissed the claims as an optical illusion caused by camera angles and image highlighting. The controversy emerged during the 15th day of the Israel-US-Iran conflict, underscoring how misinformation can thrive in wartime.

Bern rejected US requests for airspace crossing due to its neutrality policy. Further military flights without a clear purpose will also be blocked. Switzerland banned US planes linked to war in Iran from flying over its territory Switzerland has closed its airspace to US aircraft directly involved in the war in Iran, citing its tradition of neutrality in armed conflicts. This was reported by Bloomberg, informs UNN. Details It is noted that the Federal Government in Bern announced on Saturday that two requests for overflight over Switzerland on Sunday were rejected. Three other flights, including two transport aircraft, were approved. Further US overflights, which are more than usual, will be rejected if their purpose is not clear or related to the war - the statement says. The Swiss government added that the Neutrality Act prohibits parties to a conflict from overflights that serve a military purpose. Recall Switzerland temporarily closed its embassy in Tehran due to the war in the Middle East and increasing security risks for its diplomats. Foreign Affairs › Re: The US-Iran War Megathread by educatedfool: 4:21am On Mar 15 |
Igbophobia: Iran is in trouble. Not even China with all her industrialization would be foolish enough to dare a war with the US. At the end of this war, everything Iran has built and tried to build, both missile technology, drone technology and nuclear technology would be destroyed. What is their gain? You hate the US and Israel and you're stupid enough to make it obvious that you're going to destroy them and think that they'd let you even try.
China is smart not to try taking Taiwan because they're aware that US is still very powerful enough to cut them to size knowing that their military tech is still untested, unlike US that has been making war for nearly 400 years. China knows that a war with US would be determined by technological advancement and not numerical strength which they have. That's why they're bidding their time. But Iran with nothing but growing missile technology have permitted their Islamic mantra becloud their sense of safety. They supposed that what all the Arab nations combined couldn't succed at ( eliminating Israel) is what they can accomplish alone just because they deluded themself into believing they're some sort of theocracy.
Anyway, Israel in conjunction with the US will cut Iran to size. The U.S. and Israel may have superior firepower, but Iran fights differently through regional proxies, asymmetric tactics, and the ability to destabilize the entire Middle East. A war wouldn’t be a quick, clean strike; it would drag both sides into a long, costly conflict. Iran can hit U.S. bases, overwhelm Israeli defenses with missile barrages, and disrupt global oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Iran's leadership, hardened by decades of sanctions and isolation, has little to lose--making them far more dangerous than a conventional military power. Winning such a war would come at an enormous price, one the U.S. and Israel may not be willing to pay. |
