The above conversation is one that a lot of freelancers must have encountered at some point when trying to network or convince a high profile client.

Know this, Once you begin to gain a lot of relevance and attention from the top dogs, running your affairs from the comfort of your house might limit your chances of getting a pretty big client

While you're busy building a structure for that business of yours, get an office at least for the sake of an official address.

Thank God for coworking spaces, you no longer necessarily need to own an office to have an office

This present Nigerian Economy is the most suitable ever for any entrepreneur/startup as investors and business grants are all over the place but businesses with the right structured framework in terms of plans,adequate records and figures etc, are still very hard to find.
Hence, If you must seek financial support for business growth, you must have at least these three things.
1. A structured business plan : One that will interpret the vision with a prove that you're ready to put the invested money to good use.
2. A Quantitative financial record: Every investor wants to see figures.
3. A Dedicated Team: A Set of dedicated individuals to prove that your business idea is sustainable over a period of time.
Any business without the above mentioned, might never get financial support from anywhere even GRANTS.
Lesson learnt: Just like this popular saying "The fastest way to success is to learn and follow the footprints of already successful people".
If you must get any thing done fast and easy without making too many mistakes, consult a successful person in that same field and let him show you how.
