TravelRe: General German Work And Family Re-union Visa Enquiries by Efakwugideon: 7:23am On Jan 16, 2025
I am excited to share that I have recently received my visas for a two-year master's program in Bremen.

I am married and have two children, I am considering the best approach for my family to join me.

Given that the family reunion visa process can take over a year, would you advise me to book an appointment for the visa application now?

The late arrival letter demonstrates to the consular officer that you're still expected to arrive as soon as possible. It is definitely acceptable and safe to still pursue your preferred destination with the late arrival letter as long as other supporting documentsare in order, since you're applying from abroad
Okay, Thank you. I will go for visas appointment second week of January.

I have a challenge and need some advice on what to do. I have received admission offers from two cities in Germany: Koblenz and Bremen.

Bremen is in the winter semester, and classes have been in session for over three months. However, I received a late arrival letter from the course coordinator.

I prefer to study in Bremen because it is a more populated city, and I also hold a European truck license, which I can use to start applying for jobs since the city has a seaport. My concern is the potential visa complications due to the semester already being underway.

Given this situation, I am considering using the admission letter for Koblenz, which starts in the summer semester, to apply instead.

My question is: Is it safe to use the Bremen admission letter along with the late arrival letter, or should I opt for the Koblenz offer?
Note. Appointment date is not a big issue because of my current location
