In business u must ensure u conduct feasibility studies and ensure u analyze the SWOT content of the business from where hence u come to valid conclusion.Now after carrying out this viable research and analysis ...u abandon that business if the return on investment is less than the externalities ( macro and micro environment) of the business . Going by wat I posted that u feel I was trying to discourage someone..... transport business is a business with higtened risk to reward ratio owing to the fact tht issues of the business are most time outside the control of the business agent....in other words when macro environment of the business outways the internal or micro environment then one can conclude that the business will not be viable just like the case of transportation business....u hearing this from a fleet manager, Business development officer,and a driver who has been in the transport sector both as independent and sole owner and a manager of transportation outfit of firm..........

my advice to any one trying to go into this business is to register with a well placed or established organization and not as an independent unit ....register with a viable company then relinquish ur car or bus to them under contractual agreement while remittance are made to u as binding........
