I remember my service year in 2014. I was on my way enroute to my ppa via Abraka. On getting to Eku junction, it started to rain. As I was alighting, I asked the driver to come down and open his boot so I can retrieve my luggage, he refused and asked me to do it. So I retrieve my bag and while trying to shut the boot, somehow the entire rear windscreen of the car just shattered to pieces. That was when the mumu guy was forced to jump down and tried to start harassing me, saying I have to follow him to see the owner of the vehicle. That I have to replace it, blah blah blah. I was shocked and confused . but I managed to keep my cool seeing that there are some soldiers nearby. So when the guy continued to rant and I realized he wasn't going to let me go, I simply went closer to the soldiers and they asked me what was the problem. When I finished telling them what happened, they asked me to go, and for the guy to leave me alone. Case closed. But I kept looking over my shoulder to see whether the werey would trail me and assault me since I'm in a strange land. He didnt.

I once had an uncle that was given a Federal contract thanks to my late father's connection, within a year, my uncle bought a house in UK, bought another one in Abuja, and even had my sister account with 500million Naira as at 2012. Dude made more than 100 billion within a year, I know u would say it impossible because of d figures, bt my gee, i know what am saying.

Background:
I grew up in a lower-middle-class family with both my mom and dad working hard. Everything changed when my dad started earning significant money. 2010:

2016:
I got admitted to a master’s program in the U.S. and approached my dad for help again. He told me to "cut my coat according to my size" and said he couldn’t sell any of his properties for the sake of a child studying abroad. (Again, to be fair, he was right—he had already paid for my college tuition in Nigeria.) Around the same time, he married another wife.

Fast Forward to Today:

My friend help that ur dad from ur write up,ur dad didn't do u any wrong what he ensured was his over conservatism on ur matter ..in place of sending u out he made sure he gave u the opportunity here in Nigeria....I think wat ur holding against him now was is reckless lifestyle......pls do something for that man and forget ur sentiment cuz one day when he eventually leaves ur conscience will play ur mid and guilt tap u on how u failed to help ur dad rise up...........
