leuelliot: I've had an 850 t5 for 4 years which shares some components with the s70. The first thing that is likely to go bad is the ABS module due to heat and a crappy work by volvo engineers on that particular component,the speedometer would stop working after a year or so after the ABS (they are connected) in my case thats the only thing that has gone wrong besides that its very awesome, durable vehicle i personally love the exhaust note. i would advise against the turbo models mine is turbocharged but it requires some more than average attention the base model naturally aspirated engine is a blessing. i use total quarts 7000 synthetic blend oil. if u eventually buy one, i recommend you use this oil for your servicing.

Ikenna,i still don't understand. I have checked the net & av read reviews&recalls of the Volvo..S70. Its a 2.4L, I5 DOHC 20V FI Engine. All i need is advise on the reliability considering the Nigeria factor. Or is there smth you guys ar asking for that i don't seems to understand? Make una put me thru abeg,na everyday we dey learn o.

Siena: Unfortunately, that tells me nothing. What engine size is it? Simply saying "4 plugs" isn't helpful, all it tells me it's a four cylinder engine.

Earlyjay: @efetoma, thats the worth of the car..i know you dont know anything about cars with the way you talk..especially toyota cars......Manual Toyota cars are always the best than Toyota automatic,especially Orobo... you said 800k max, but depends on how clean it is. Its 1 million here in Abuja. and this car is been used for few months...Toyota cars doesnt loose their value compare to other make like HONDA,BENZ,BMW,NISSAN...Toyota has the highest second hand value. Because they produce good cars..Thank you

I just helped a friend get a European spec 1999 BMW 328i and couldn't stop drooling
I am kind of making up my mind that it has to be a BMW because they have maintained that quality.

The leather in the interior was still pristine, the shocks and even the engine after 200k kilometers
I just haven't stopped congratulating my guy for the choice he made.
I just realized that the Japanese guys may just have been ripping us off. The spare parts of this car is damn CHEAP!!
