Did you know?
The standard spacing between the wires on an electric fence should be *95mm to 100mm*. This way, the wires are not too close together and they are not too far apart to cause any problems. Always check your electric fence poles to ensure this is correct.

Is your electric fence raising false alarms when it rains? Here is one reason why...
1. Rainwater drops
During rainfall if the live and earth wires are connected by rainwater drops for a few seconds such that there is interference or voltage drops on the system below the recommended KV, then an alarm will sound🚨
To control the situation,
Check that your fence wires are not sagging👍

We stock only the JVA Energizers. They can connect with Wi-Fi, remote control, keypad and GSM devices? Very Easy to install. 2 years warranty. Proudly brought to you by EFFANTI JVA South Africa 🇳🇬🇿🇦

💯The answer is FALSE. An electric fence should not kill 💀❌The JVA Electric Fence Energizers would send sharp and very painful shocks such that the intruder is incapacitated, but would not kill. Death may only occur out of exhaustion, if the intruder is trapped in between the wires or falls and hits the head. In which case, the death was not caused by the electric fence. A properly installed electric fence should not kill

5 Mistakes to avoid with your Electric Fence Energizer !
1. Never sit your Energizer directly on the ground. Always mount it up on a pole or shed wall. Why? because it has a breather hole right at the bottom of the case. If it is sitting on the ground it will suck water or moisture in

2. Never place it outdoors in the rain. Place it in a weatherproof area (such as indoors, a shed, etc.).

3. Never allow water from rain, dew, etc to be channelled into the case by the cables that attach to the fence. The lead should hang down in a loop before the reach the case so water will drip off.

4. Never allow ants into the energiser. If necessary, spray the wall behind the unit with an insect repellant

5. Never put your Energizer directly under the sun. Place a cover on it. While you are giving it some shade, make it dry as well.

These simple practices will save you a lot of headaches.
