I'm not surprised. There has been ethnic profiling in Lagos, especially after last year's election results. People from the Southeast and South-South regions know that it's nearly impossible to find a Yoruba landlord in Lagos who will rent them a property. |
Edo state and bad roads sha! |
Rather than face reality they chose propaganda and lies. |
What does David Umahi want? |
God pass them. Every decent Nigerian should take a stand against all the ethnic jingoist wherever they are raising their ugly heads. |
They're frustrated wrench who hide behind their keyboards to vomit venom online. Some of them have secondary accounts they use solely for begging online. |
Protest is supposed to be peaceful, But when you ethnicise and make it look like war or for regime change, this is what you get. |
Evil sentiment beclouded the government from looking up North even when they were very loud on this protest. They were ignored and were looking for the Igbos to use as scapegoat. Confusion is their lot now since the Igbos didn't protest. |
And the distribution of the so called palliative was never publicised even in this election period. |
PortHarcourtcit:Our analysis was based on the picture of a woman with an empty pot at a protest against the hunger in the land. Think about the irony of that picture. |
What about the Action Bitters? We don't drink. Our analysis was based on the picture of a woman with an empty pot at a protest against the hunger in the land. ; AllBlack: |
Good to know that government wants to dialogue with faceless protest organisers only because the usual scapegoats didn’t participate. What a country |
Eriggs:Get well soon, I can understand your frustrations. |
Why is boda Bayo quiet? |
The evil agenda to put this protest on Igbos head failed woefully. |
According to the president spokesman, it’s Peter Obi that asked them to occupy Buhari’s house in Daura! |
I concur absolutely! When I saw the picture in another thread as it was being reported earlier, I told my children that this is the picture of the day and the face of this protest. Nlfpmod |
Testing the waters! |
Curfew won’t help to curtail this situation. It could make it worse like it did #endsars |
I trust Edo people. Dem nor dey fall hand. Peaceful all the way |
The message has been sent, but will the government listen? Did we need to get to this stage in the first place? |
Lamba. Employing Sanni Abacha tactics |
Nigeria government and its distraction tactics! What have they not done to make sure the planned protest doesn't hold. |
Not surprised at all if you know what I mean. |
This government is just gaslighting the public with promises that has never seen the light of day! This is a ”Headline Government”. Nothing may change. Someone should get me that Daniel Bwuala’s meme on Tinubu |
Seriously? They should join the protest tomorrow. Tomorrow’s protest mustn’t fail because the senate president Akpabio is already mocking the hungry Nigerians who want to protest. We will have dictators in power unless a strong mass signal is sent through this protest peacefully. |
If this protest fails, Nigerians should be ready to have a dictatorial government that will never listen to the masses but if it succeeds, then we can expect a lot of masses friendly policies from the government. |
Disconnect their electricity to compel them to pay or you put them on prepaid meter. Or is that not possible? Lol. We haven't had electricity since Friday last week. |
Tinubu haven't men but jesters he surrounded himself with as men. It's the reason for the ineptitude in his administration. A regime of Headlines! |
I am one of those who visits Nairaland regularly. |
Joke of the day! Wait till then. You'll see people being carried from their hospital bed to vote Tinubu their hero and brother. You Neva sabi Nigerians |
This government can't even see one good thing through successfully. |
