Limited person's each year. there is currently no officer in the army that has the rank of General(4 star), even the COAS is a Lt. Gen (3 star) Are you a learner? Bloody scammer! |

ciccerouno: Nope highest rank achieveable is field Marshall, but highest to date is a general (4star), Murtala moh'd, obasanjo, IBB, abacha, abdulsalam, alex ogomudia, agwai, azazi, etc are notable officers who have attained the rank of full generals (4 star) in the Nigerian army In Nigeria, currently it's only the Chief of Defence Staff, that has the rank of a General (4 star) equivalent to an Admiral in the Navy or Air Chief Marshal in the Airforce as in the case of Alex Badeh (4 star general) who is the current CDS The current COAS, CNS and CAS are all 3 star generals, Lt. Gen equivalent to Vice Admiral in the Navy and Air Marshal in the Airforce |

Car Talk › What's Your Opinion On Jumping Gear 4( Manual Drivers Only) by egesie(op): 5:44am On Nov 16, 2014 |
If you stay in Nigeria, you find certain people that go from gear 3 to gear 5, like my bro uses gear 3 to reach abt 70km-80km then jumps to gear 5 n the car speed picks up steady from there, when I started driving on express, he was like no need for gear 4, unless u're driving up a hill or trying to reach top speed fast. So m just wondering apart from my bro n dad, I'm yet to meet other people who do that(maybe because most ppl drive auto now) I'll like to know your opinion |

At least we have people we can count on now when our field soldiers are fleeing. If u were given AK 47 n paid peanuts as salary plus knowing if you are KIA, ur family might not be compensated on time... my brother won't u flee? There are some good n gallant officers doing their best despite the odds, corruption is everywhere, the military isn't an exception. We can only hope n pray God bless NA and RIP to our fallen heroes |

DRealGeesam: Hmmmm. But seriously there LOTS of countries that are willing to sell to us and dont give a damn about USA policies, why cant we patronize them.
Blaming USA for our whoas is getting stale, we are at war, we cant keep being the cry baby of the world.
It is also high time our government start investing heavily in Research and Development. Who says we cant build our own weapons?
South Africa has nuclear weapon, North Korea that is far poorer than Nigeria has good weapons development programs. What are we still waiting for
Money being spent on pilgrimage, should be diverted into Research and Development, In technology and medicine. Of what national benefit is the pilgrimage our government spends billions on, sending thousands of people to Mecca and Jerusalem.
We had better wake from our silly slumber
How can a country be so blessed and rich as Nigeria and we cant invest in weapons developments, then why do we have so many first class engineers in the first place?
I was at the Airforce Industries, Kaduna about 4 years ago. Honestly things are still archaic there. We are not at par with this decade at all.
USA is world power today, because they invested in research and development not sponsoring their people on pilgrimage to mecca and jerusalem.
NIGERIA!!! WAKE UP!!!
Haba!
Post advert today and ask nigerians to volunteer in weapons development and see how you will be flooded with ideas and men of great knowledge It wont be easy as ABC, but it is not that difficult too if there is visionary leadership. FACT: India is already sending men to space and probes to the moon (they where the first to discover water on the moon) yet they got independence only 3 years ahead of Nigeria erm, sorry to rain on ur parade oo, India got independence in 1947, 13 years(not 3) before Nigeria, 'twas Ghana that got their independence in 1957, 3 years before Nigeria. |
