Yes even Christianity is not exempt from this. The crusaders carried out atrocities from the 11th to 13th centuries. Yes that’s a good example of people killing in the name of God. It seems we are forgetting a very important part of this whole process. The President did not singlehandedly approve the pardon. A Presidential committee was inaugurated from across the spectrum and they came up with recommendations which were submitted to the council of state for approval.
