wizb: @ehonda, my machine has been doing only small stitches. The stitch adjuster keeps going up. What do I do?What i can inferred from your question is that the lever that regulate the stitch length keeps jacking up while you are sewing meanwhile the stitches keeps reducing. That is more of corrective maintenance which is beyond what u can handle, it needs a technical attention What type of machine are u using? PearlyJay: @ ehonda. Pls my butterfly machine cuts thread if I want to sew a thick part like the hem. It sews light fabric but the stitches are not tight. Pls what should I do?ok, if the stitches is loose from the top then adjust the shuttle then if its is below you will need to tight the tension. Then the issue with the thick fabric needs some settings as a corrective maintenance. I will have to attend to it personally. Just call me 08189956612 1 Like |

wizb: Basting stitch is the long loose stitch is the long loose stitch they use for gathers. ThanksOk, i can see that your machine stich adjuster is not properly set to the max. 1.The bobbing/carieer is where u slot the shuttle. 2. Industrial machine have specific function, conversion only occurs in weaving machine when u mistakenly buy an industrial weaving machine that weave exactly like the domestic parttern. Ok. Since you are not in lagos. Where is your location? You might have to get ur hand dirty to do the practical check while we troubleshoot. Can u get to check ur bobbing/carrier where u slot ur shuttle. How long have u left the machine? I hope rust have not set in and the flywheel stil control other mechanism. STEP 1 1.Ensure that the needle is properly fixed. 2. Remove the carrier/bobbing and replace it with a new one. 3. Then test it. keep me posted. 1 Like |
