additional internal combustion cylinder is on its own four stroke journey but all powers will be sent to crank shaft.

Stroke1 Oxygen inlet valve opens by aid of engine timings to rocker arm. piston sucks air.
stroke2 not valves closes. position com presses air + pms mixture(petrol engine) but for diesel engine that's when fine diesel vapour is sprayed into compressed air. explosion occurs forcing piston to deliver the power stroke 3.
stroke4 exhaust valve opens for expel of burnt gas.
