Literature › Re: How Much Should I Charge For A 150 Paged Novel On Fiverr by Ekeeyhandsome(m): 9:33am On Jul 31, 2017 |
WetinConsignMe: Some people are indeed shameless. Everybody can already see u lost the argument, old man. U r only fooling yourself. The argument was between "estimate" and "advice" not between "estimate" and "estimate request". Chai! OLODOOO!!! jdtrends: You merely buttressed my point, young man. According to what you quoted, estimates requests are PRECISE. Note clearly, I said ESTIMATE REQUESTS not ESTIMATE itself. There's a difference. Below is my quote
ALL ESTIMATE REQUESTS ARE DIRECT, PRECISE and are mostly anchored on specific words like estimate, quotation, or any of their synonyms.
Now let me explain the difference :
1. ESTIMATE. This is a rough calculation of what something is worth. This CANNOT be precise as that would be contradicting itself. Clearly, I never mentioned anything like that.
2. ESTIMATE REQUESTS. Here, the head word is REQUESTS, not ESTIMATE. The word ESTIMATE is merely functioning as an adjective and has nothing to do with precise. That said, these type of requests are always precise in the sense that the grammatical family of the word ESTIMATE, such as QUOTATION, is generally used when making this request. For instance, "how much should I charge" is imprecise, hence, cannot fall into the estimate category. If you ask me this question, I must demand certain things to help me make suggestions. "What type of novel are you writing? What is the copyright agreement? What are the terms?"... All these will be taken into consideration before I render my advice. I can't make an estimate because I don't have a clue of the kind of job you were hired to do or the kind of novel you were hired to write.
Estimate requests on the other hand are precise. For instance, "I need a cost estimate on a novel project particularly gothic..." . As you can see, the request is a precise one. Straight to the point! Bia..if I slap una two enh,una go behave by force.. Who over grammar eep?? Men arguing like bitchezz.. |

ijeezlux: thanks for the words of advice. but I don't think it's can be more stressful and frustrating than what am facing here in Nigeria. presently I fear no fall cos am already down. I don't mind taking the risk of going to a foreign land that I don't have anybody Plz try taking such risk in Europe ... I know it's much easier over there then here in SA, here if u don't hv anyone u will regret coming at first... |

nurshah: No sir. becasue even the black south Africans are not happy .forget the fact that blacks are at helm of afiars thecwhites control the economy ... Imagine also working on a same position and the white is paid more. In some areas in s.a a black is not welcomed ..the black s.a are frustrated and depressed however someone somewhere is poisoning their minds that fellow blacks are the problems just so as to protect the actual enemy
Your case might b different but on average level ita not like that on s.a I actually even prefer,Senegal,Ghana benein and sao time Ur opinion counts though boss , but what gives u the impression that these countries u mentioned are better off.. meanwhile they ar western Africa... and lastly, why wud u wanna liv in the midst of whites that practised apathy in the past, when u can live amongst ur race.. Just for the record, I live in the an environment that's made up of mostly whites.. |

nonxo007: Bro give us details of the country, I'm planning on relocating too. What's the living standard like and where is best to startup ?? SA is a beautiful country minus the xenophobia ish, which happens once in a while and mostly in the location( usually that's where most South Africans lives) I live in joburg,so I don't know much about other provinces... but from the little I know, jozi,is the business hub of SA, ... Living standards here is on the average depending on what business u ar into, but social amenities re same wit what u see in Europe ... But please while coming, come prepared, Cox life is never a bed of roses.. |
