Nairaland GeneralThe Igbo Presidency, 2023. by Ekesmart(op): 12:55pm On Mar 14, 2019
I have always prayed and wished for an Igbo President. Then came a man - Rochas, who threw his hat to the ring even with such power as Governor of a State. He is so fearless and goes all out for what he wants. With his bewitching smile and gift of the garb, he bares his mind on any issue and damns the consequences. He will be the first to condemn the injustice of an Igbo man by another countryman of other ethnic stock and still believes in a united Nigeria. When Arewa youths threatened with quit notice, he spared no effort to condemn the threat. When IPOB reared its ugly head, Okorocha was vociferous in condemning the agitations and even went further to suggest for Movement for the Survival of Igbo People (MOSIP) and not agitations for breakaway Biafra Republic from Nigeria that could only lead to loss of lives and properties. He spoke when other Igbo elites out of sheer fear kept mute. He is so vocal, smart in thinking and sees beyond the immediate. He welcomes both dick and harry with open arms and nurtures same to stardom with ease. Okorocha is a grassroot politician. He is also ambitious. Mind you, ambitiousness is not greed and it is not a sin to be ambitious. Because yours truly is also ambitious if not very ambitious.
To realize his dreams of becoming first Igbo President post independence, someone very loyal and trustworthy has to take over from him as he exits in May 29 this year while he continues politicking in Abuja as Senator of the Federal Republic. Among his staff, he found Uche Nwosu his son-inlaw most worthy, afterall others betrayed including those who attended several nocturnal meetings where topics on how to defang and fall their Master - Rochas was discussed and they still hid it from him while still enjoying from his largesse. Chai, nnam oburu gi, will you trust such a fellow, let alone make him your successor? No naa.
Okorocha helped Osita Izunaso become APC National Organizing Secretary, today Izunaso is fighting him; Okorocha appointed Madumere his COS and later Deputy, today Madumere is fighting him; Okorocha contributed to Ben Uwajumogu’s emergence as the only APC Senator from Southeast, today Ben is fighting him; Okorocha helped Henry Okafor up the ladder, but he betrayed; Okorocha appointed Jude Ejiogu his SSG, today Ejiogu is fighting him; Okorocha made George Eche his Accountant General and recently SSG, today George is fighting him even with the money he collected from Okorocha as salary; Okorocha fought to install Emma Ibediro as APC National Organizing Secretary and even went further to package him so that he doesn’t appear cheap among his co-excos from other tribes, today he is fighting Rochas. Haba!
All these men have something in common; Cupidity. They exhibited height of ingratitude. They are very greedy and guilty of what they accused Rochas of. These men go to Abuja and become pawns in the political chessboard of the Hausas and Yorubas. They see Tinubus, OBJs, Sarakis, Oshiomholes in Abuja even in their well bedecked clothes and accourterments and still rankadede them, sometimes; ‘oga, your boy is very loyal’, but when they see Rochas before these people or anywhere in Southeast, they feel like patting him on the back and follow up with ‘nna jisie ike, ina agbali.’ What a shame!
Those celebrating the ‘victory’ against Rochas may not know they are only empowering the Hausas and Yorubas. They don’t know the level of damage they have done to Ndigbo.
Save Rochas, who else of Igbo extraction has shown signs overtly or covertly of challenging the Asiwajus, OBJs, IBBs, Kwankwosos and Sarakis or even becoming another Ojukwu or Zik through actions or in words. Just mention one and I will switch allegiance immediately.
To further cripple, decapitate and decimate Rochas finally, they had to use his brother – Hope Uzodinma– the Ifeajuna of our time and my fellow Igbo brothers are hailing him as if he has won both the war and the peace or even declared Eastern Republic. What a shame! For me, Hope and Ararume are just local champions, same as other Igbo elites in their camp and deserve to be prayed for until they repent. They have nothing to lose if they help Rochas fight this battle now. It is not too late. All should look beyond Uche Nwosu and make contributions, because Uche is not the problem here.

Nothing kills a nation than envy, jealousy and covetousness. The same way Jesus was crucified on earth for His magnanimous deeds, Rochaham Okorocha is also being crucified for helping the masses.
Daddy Rochaham (Millennium Abraham), you are the father of many generations and from your progenies, offsprings and descendants shall be great men and women that shall turn things around in Imo state,Nigeria, Africa and the world.
You have proven to the world that "kindness does not cost a thing",
"kindness renews the strength of the benefactor and rekindles the zeal of a helpless beneficiary to excel "
Daddy Rochaham Okorocha (As I fondly call you), God has made me who I am today through you and sooo many of us your children from the Rochas Foundation Colleges spread across the nation.
I, on behalf of over a million children of the poorest of the poor in Nigeria and Africa whom you have given hope in life cannot thank you enough.
In my own way, the best way to appreciate you is to name my son after you, because I don't know how else to appreciate you.
We will forever be by your side through thick and thin.
I am, Hon Nzeh Patrick Chidiebere,
Imo state commissioner for information.

PoliticsRe: Femi Fani-Kayode To Okorocha: 'Judas Of Igboland, Stop Crying' by Ekesmart: 11:08am On Mar 14, 2019
It's quite unfortunate that the Igbo's are tools in the hands of the west and north to pull down their own brothers who have risen to a national figures, it also happened to Okadigbo, But be rest assured that Owelle Igbo is a cat with more than 9 lives. Igboland would get better soon.
