Thanks for your incisive feedback. The Site Engineer doesn't get involved in the procurement of building materials, it's usually done by my younger brother. I also usually disburse funds when I'm on ground at the site whenever I visit and not from abroad.

I would be willing to contract the procurement and delivery of the materials to building site to you if you can deliver on your quote.

I must add that the site location is on the outskirts of Calabar (along the Bacoco/ Nasarawa Road), which does bring up some logistic problems for delivery of materials from
Calabar.

Additionally, there is an unwritten rule that labourers should be hired first from the youths in the village before outsiders and they do tend to push a very high collective bargain for their rates.

We tend to buy sand and cement locally. However, I'd be happy to enter into an arrangement with you during my next visit in 3 months time.

I dnt do supplies. Can send u contact of suppliers per item who would make supplies to ur site and get paid on delivery. However, ur site at bacoco/nasarrawa is accessible to motorist. Secondly you should'nt yield to the pressure of d community labour as they begin to fix rates to which you pay them for services even if dat is nt wat is obtainable elsewhere. For the cement, the price i stated is for the UNICEM 32.5 grade and Dangote 32.5 grade. 42.5 grade for dangote is slightly higher.

Your deal is nt fair at all.....

The Graduate Management Development Scheme (GMDS) is a talent ¡V sourcing scheme aimed at identifying young, bright, talented Nigerian graduates who have recently concluded their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignments. u can put in that money and invest in the Tinapa business resort in calabar, at least the resort was commissioned April 2nd. bizs such as using large shops and the emporiums could serve u beta cash when investors finally come around. bt i would like u to take a market survey of the area and see which commodity u prefer. cheerz,
