You need to understand something about making of hit songs... The making of hit songs goes beyond how good a song is. If that should be the case, a lot of thrashy songs musically making waves globally won't be making waves whereby a lot of great songs hardly make it beyond the studio it was made.

It has more to do with the star power of the person singing the song and whether it is truly the artiste's time. This star phenomenon explains why most artistes won't be able to replicate and stay on the same pedestal of success after a certain period irrespective of the songs they continue to dish out to the world.

They will just discover all of a sudden that the same fan base is no longer as receptive to their songs like before despite once being the rave of the moment.
