You need to understand something about making of hit songs... The making of hit songs goes beyond how good a song is. If that should be the case, a lot of thrashy songs musically making waves globally won't be making waves whereby a lot of great songs hardly make it beyond the studio it was made.

It has more to do with the star power of the person singing the song and whether it is truly the artiste's time.
