Fresh reports online reveal that Davido, his father Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke have allegedly been funding workers’ salaries in Osun State from their personal pockets.
This disclosure was made by former Ondo State governor, Bode George, during an interview on Nigeria Info FM Lagos 99.3.
Speaking about the withheld local government funds by the Federal Government of Nigeria, Bode George said that the trio mentioned earlier have been paying salaries of workers from their pockets for the past 6 months now.
Bode George said that Osun State has not been paid local government allowances by the Federation account, owing the state over N5billion.
He added that the last time he had a conversation with Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, he said that he is considering dumping the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Honestly, even by PDP’s own lying standards, Baba Bode George has disappointed himself with these terrible LIES.
How can anyone say things like this and still expect that anyone respects them in any way at all?
Osun has received its FG allocation non-stop since the beginning of the year. What has the State been doing with the humongous amounts if they have not paid salaries from it?
Seriously, anyone still expecting any righteousness to come forth from that LYING and CORRUPT PDP is living in a fool’s world. PDP lie so much that satan would also be proud of them!
happney65: It has nothing to do with late jagaban or the current infighting in APC. The moment Jagaban died,I knew the winner of the by election will be Seyi's candidate.
In Oyo,it is a vote against the APC. If they see 100K votes in 2027 and presidential Govorship election sef, they should be happy.
In Oyo, nobody wants to go back to the APC regime of yesterday. Nobody wants to go back to Egypt.
I can tell you something for free. Tinubu will struggle to win in 2027 in Oyo,that is even if he doesn't loses.
WRITE IT DOWN!
You lie.
This was about the candidate that many of the Oyo APC people didn’t like. He was Folarin’s candidate and others stepped back.
Divija: Today, we say goodbye to a man who once carried the hopes of a nation on his shoulders. A president, a father figure to many, a symbol of change whose journey began with promise and passion.
In his early years, he was a beacon of hope. He spoke with fire in his bones and dreams in his heart. Streets once chanted his name, not out of fear, but of faith. He walked into power with the blessings of the people and for a moment we believed again. We believed in justice. In growth. In peace.
But history, as it often does, unfolded with its own script.
In his final days, weakened by time and circumstance, he made a choice that will haunt generations. He handed over the soul of our nation to a tyrant one who rules not with love or law, but with fear and fire. Since then, we have watched our people drown in silence, our freedoms strangled, our dignity auctioned to the highest bidder.
Was it weakness? Was it blindness? Was it betrayal? We may never know.
But even in the pain of the present, we cannot erase the man he once was. The leader who once gave children books instead of bullets. Who once built bridges where walls stood. We honor that man today not to rewrite history, but to remember the full picture.
To mourn him is to mourn what could have been.
May his soul find the peace he couldn’t give his people. And may we, the living, rise stronger wiser knowing that legacy is not just in what you build, but in who you leave the keys with when you are gone.
Rest well, Mr. President. History will speak your name with both hope and caution.
This is shameful and should not be posted at this time.
Never knew that the noble profession of law could ever be reduced to this level of criminality when they hold on to monies that are not theirs and then try to form Voltron in public.
Hope the Nigerian Army has vetted those 200 very well?
Those people are full of evil and it will not be a surprise if IPOB/UGM TERRORISTS sponsor their members into the army so as to destabilise it from within!
Reality is hitting them already and they’ve begun weeping, seeing that their attempt to fly is dead on arrival…😂😂😂
Wow unto you PDP, for SALIHU LUKMAN, the former troubled of the APC (hand of LUKMAN, voice of EL-RUFAI) has come unto you to begin troubling you with his endless satanic letters….😂😂😂😂
Validated: In a free and fair election, Tinubu will be 2nd to the last, beating only Elrufai. Please, know that 2027 would be checkmated by both local and international entities.
Shut the hell up, you CHILD OF HATE!
The local & international observes must start from the SE, where those who attempted voting the opposition in the 2023 elections were severely brutalised by your kinsmen!
Leboska: Niece reply don't mind the idiot on a stolen mandate
Indeed, Seun Oshewa has let so many lunatics into this his asylum! This Nairaland is now IPOB-Land, with the extra madness that that brings along.
As in, an association that should be above board took N300m a state government, one which has outstanding obligations to contractors and now speaking grammar when asked to return it?
And you support that, because you assume it is Wike or Tinubu that you are attacking? Are you that mad?
kettykings: I think, the neglect has reached this man, when everyone was shouting neglect since 2015 where was he.
Igbos must rise with ruthless intent and transform the East into the undisputed Research and Development capital of Africa. We proved our genius under fire—during the civil war, we engineered the killing machines like Ogbunigwe, crude oil refineries, palm oil refineries, radio transmitters, rocket guided missiles and other war machines, using sheer will, brainpower, and scarcity as fuel. What excuse do we have now, in so-called peace?
We are still in Nigeria, but Nigeria cannot contain us. If we could build weapons in the bush, we can damn well build industries in cities. It's time every high-turnover Igbo business—whether in tech, pharmaceuticals, engineering, or manufacturing—sets up R and D headquarters in the East. No more excuses.
Let’s pull back our smartest minds. Let’s train them, empower them, and put them to work building products that fuel our own region—not Lagos, not Abuja, but the East. This isn’t charity; it’s survival. No more capital flight. No more brain drain. No more waiting for a country that only knows how to marginalize.
This is really beautiful and, for the first time, an intellectual departure from the usual NZOGBU NZOGBU threats & chestbeatings of the SE and its people.
However, when you say the region has been marginalised, the question is by whom?
The SE region was in the corridors of power from 1999 to 2015 and throughout those 16 years, not once did we hear any complaints of marginalisation from you and your people.
The region chose to put all its eggs in one basket in all presidential elections since 1999, serving the PDP from 1999 till 2022 and then going wholly for Labour Party in 2023, choosing then to even badly beat up any of its own people who dared express a different opinion by voting for opposing parties.
Why should the ruling party then share out all its offices to the SE that has no time for it, especially one that still hates it to the core today and is still desperate to vote it’s own in 2027? Should the ruling party then leave those who worked hard for it, only to appoint those who hate it and will still not vote for it in subsequent elections? I don’t get it.
ImpartialGuy: Tinubu and his co-travellers in NASS should enact a new law inferring power of immunity on the administrator since they want to turn the constitution upside down.
Saao: Good, he's showing Nigeria government how to do business. Adjust prices when u need to.
Oponu! Isn’t it the other way round?
He wanted to blackmail government with crazy hikes in prices but the govt didn’t blink. NNPC kept theirs much lower and now he’s forced to lower his prices to compete.
Not sure CHILDREN OF HATE understand the interplay of competition in economics though, hence I’ll understand if you’re still not getting this.
And the CHILDREN OF HATE from the REGION OF PERDITION, led by their new NNAMDI KANU (HARRY TWEETS) had already called the assaulter a ‘Yoruba agbero’, as the animals from that sick region usually do!
Nigeria really needs to send these people back to their crime-infested region.
If Philip Agbede did indeed say these things he’s quoted to have said, it means he’s empty and not even aware of responsibilities of the House and the limits of its powers.
So, if Administrator Ibas said they need to out together a new Budget, how does that go beyond his authority?
Is it the Legislature’s responsibility to prepare budgets? No, it is the Executive’s.
The Administrator & his team can put together the budget but they only can’t pass it into law.
Once they get it ready, the next stage is to pass it to the House of Reps for consideration and approval or rejection. It’s as simple as that.
Some of these legislators are the very definition of stupid.
His comments are boastful, uncalled-for, disrespectful to the President & very condescending to the Administrator.
I don’t want to believe that an educated Reps member, let alone it’s spoeksman, made such reckless & senseless comments.
Massiveglory: Aboki de go use am do iron condemn. Tinubu is a colossal disaster.
IPOB CHILD OF HATE, rest! Otherwise you will just die a useless death. He is your president, so live with it and if you don’t like that, go to the Niger Bridge and jump! 😂😂😂
Botragelad: Remove criminals residing in the UK without proper authorisation who engage in violent behaviour, including stabbing and assaulting innocent people.
Religious terrorist and extremists should be deported back to their country. And if they are citizens, a lengthy sentence should do or life like the Sharia guy.
Bro (or is it Sis), the excellent solution you suggested might actually be too late in the day.
Those Islamic hardliners know that western governments are weak by nature and they have so penetrated them that it’s already too late.
When they cough, many western governments sneeze.
Are you aware that there are certain areas in the West that native white people dare not walk through?
Those people are lawless and have refused to integrate at all with their host communities.
Sadly, the useless Western governments keep letting them in everyday.
I think it will actually only get worse.
Let’s just pray for ourselves and our children, so that God will keep us safe and make an excellent way for us in the midst of it all.
vanbonattel: Igbos are all in their shops doing good business, nothing like sit at home there.
Your mischief took you to go and take pictures of the front of government house road where there is usually zero traffic. Show us the front and inside ogbete market,
The day the rest of Nigeria realises how devious and evil those SadEast CHILDREN OF HATE are, they will know they are dealing with very devilish people who will do everything to destroy whatever they cannot get.
These people did exactly this same thing in 1966 but when the North struck back, they began the story of victimisation.
