Inordinate Ambition: Austin Agada Schemes To Be Deputy Governor, Rallies Onslaught Against Idoma Governorship Aspiration Greed, Money and corruption are ruining the Idoma land. A crooked politicians who is already in the act of compromising the long awaiting chances of the Idoma people for his personal interest and self accomplishments at the detriment of the entire people of Zone C. Austin Agada, a bigot betrayal was among the good men and women whom the Idoma people have presented to Benue people with good fortune has now becomes one of the person who is working tirelessly to make sure the idoma people do not lay their hands on the 2023 Governorship seat in Benue State. The purposeful personal greed interest of Austin Agada in becoming the next Deputy Governor could not allow him swallow his pride and work towards the progress of the Idoma people, instead he’s campaigning against the success of the Idoma Governorship Interest. Why must our whole blood be a threat of betrayal of our people? Should we seat and watch our own blood sabotage us? The zone C are human and they deserve equal right in every affairs of the Benue state. Since the inception of democracy, the Idoma people have been denied Governorship seat in Benue State. Are we not part of the land? The Idoma people must all join hand together and call on Austin Agada to step down on his self acclaimed interest. We the people of Idoma land have no single interest in such an ambition that is not in line with the interest of our people. As such, we the people of Zone C have officially withdraw our support for Austin Agada in his interest in becoming the next Deputy Governor of Benue State, since is not in the interest of the Zone C. ALIA MAY BECOME A POLITICAL RETIREE AFTER PRIMARIES …Austin Agada rallies onslaught against Zone C governorship agenda, pushes to be deputy to Alia By MC Zege As political parties set to commence primaries including the All Progressive Congress APC in Benue state, an indoor arrangement to impose a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia as consensus candidate of the party has been exposed. The current state chairman of the party, Comrade Austin Agada, has also embarked on serious scheming to be deputy to Alia, despite the growing call for a Benue state governor of Zone C extraction come 2023. The exposure came as a result of the developing cliques and in-fighting within the party among other aspirants who claimed to have nurtured the party for decades before his coming. Groups loyal to the other most popular candidates of the party, Hon. Terlumun Paul Ikya, Prof. Terhemba Shija; Chief Steven Lawani; Dr. Sam Ode; Dr. Tsuwa John Tor ; Senator Barnabas Gemade and Barr. Herman Iorwase Hembe. Others including, Mark Tersoo Hanmation; Engr Nick Wende and a former minister of Justice, Chief Mike Kaase Aondoakaa have dismissed the planed consensus plot for the Catholic priest. We scooped from reliable resources that those who were behind the plot including the leadership of the party in the state feared that it might not sail through, Kpei! Kwagh ne ka kwagh. But Austin is unrelenting. In a secret meeting recently, he mobilized LGA chairmen of APC to push for Alia’a candidacy, promising to ‘do them well’ if he emerges as the deputy governor of the state. It was learnt that although the plan had been announced, opposition to it was already swelling among members kpa mzamber zayol a de lun problem ga. The refusal of the aspirants to concur with the planned arrangement of the leader of the party Senator George Akume was not far fetched that the celebrated priest had never contributed in the building of the party's structure (Sam sam). That, while some of them have met with the party’s hierarchy to intensify efforts to get the support of the party delegates to clinch the ticket, the priest is yet to widely consult with party leaders and elders or seemed to be doing nothing at all than smiling at the many cheers by political shakers (mba gereen ball). The aspirants had said that they were waiting for Alia's backers to unveil their plan, which they vowed to resist ( Sha agee kpaa). These and many more reasons including the body language of the party members have shown that the aspirants have prior arrangements to produce a different consensus candidate for the party if the going gets tough. Should this plan come into play, the Alia would have no choice than to return to his priesthood to continue maintaining his Oath of celibacy and it will surely call to rest his political career. However, we will leave to mention his name like the Ugbas, the Jimes and the rest. The road blocks, traffic jam and brooms will become the title of our stories. |

THE LAZINESS IN NIGERIANS YOUTH We the youths of Nigeria, are we really glamouring for the type of governance that we are expecting or we are just mocking ourselves knowing that we are not really playing our roles. Because all I see and read everyday is complaints without any plan. Complain without love for each other, complain without value for each other, complain with evil wishes, complain with tribalism, complain with extremism, complain with religious crisis. But no single Agenda or move for a better governance by the youth. What role are we to play other than the complains? There is this beautiful saying that goes “A journey of a thousand miles start with a footstep”. Since the mode of governance is bad, what move have we made other than the usual complaints? Youth running from their right and blaming politicians... all they clamour for is division and they themselves are involved in all sorts of religious crisis... Ignoring their Right and blaming themselves...they don't have a common goal...they pray for the evil they cannot face...all they clamour for is how to go and make it in another man's land. It is just like a father running from his home because he cannot afford the normal three square meal per day. what kind of youth are we...what do we tell the generation yet to preceed us? we cannot join heads together and put things in order... all we do is engage in the blame game. Rather than work towards a better society together we are sitting waiting for miracle to happen. This country will only be favourable to us only when the youths from the six geopolitical zone come together for a common goal and single agenda...otherwise we are just as an empty drum that makes the loudest noise. Let the youth be wise. we have been complaining of bad leaders for years...but what are our plans towards that? Do we have any plan on ground other than personal interest... the same youth complaining of bad leadership are the one praising other developed countries, the same youth are engaged in tribalism, the same youth are engaged in division... the behaviour of Nigerian youth is just like "a mother rejecting/neglecting her baby in the school and rejoicing with other kids just because the baby is not doing well in school... not knowing that she has a role to play in the life of such a baby...she can stir a positive change to the fortune of that Child, which she will benefit from hugely She can make him better than those kids... She can encourage the Child to become somebody by giving the Child reasons to break out of his shell and be more adventurous.. Let the mother give the baby reasons to study. .. such is the typical characteristic of every African youth...especially Nigerians.... Africans youth don't know that out of the 7 continents, African is the richest continent blessed with all form of natural resources... but negligence, laziness and carelessness made us not to know it value...thus we are just interested in finished product... so other countries get the resources from us and give use the finished product in an amount higher than the raw Materials that we sold...virtually we are not making any gain from our raw materials. e.g Africans owned Gold..but the price of gold is determined by the British. ...why ? Because they are the once that can convert it to various finished products... its high time we stop blaming just leaders...we the youth also have a role to play, we have a right to express our thoughts...and if we fail, the generation to proceed us will blame us and not our present leaders because we failed to act when we are suppose to act...instead all we do is to wish evil for the present leaders that we are hopping for a better governance from... can u imagine that? I advice u avoid taking anything that will contain milk for now...do that for a week and see... it will change the watery stool...eat more of hard food like, yam, foo Tec. And also avoid vegetable for now for sometime... your body is already saturated with thOSE stuffs... Am very sure the watery stool will stop...as for the white tongue it could be Bacteria, fungi, dirt, food, and dead cells can all get trapped between the enlarged papillae. This collected debris is what turns your tongue white. And sometimes it could be a sign of early cancer Lets wait and hear from the elders.[/quote] |
