joseph1832: Do you have extremely large boobsy or large buttocks, or are you exceptionally pretty?
These are among the very common reason, why people stare at you. I’m a male. I won’t say I’m handsome or ugly. Just average-looking. |

fattprince: I've got such experiences and always wants to bring it to nairaland but I'm too lazy to write sometimes. Mine, some even greet me. I don't know if it has been happening long ago because I'm shortsighted but I always feel someone staring at me but when I look I really don't see if they were staring but when I started using my glasses, I see them clearly staring at me. And it's also both male and female, young and matured people. I really don't know what to make of it too. Someone who relates finally. It’s not like you get bothered, but you get curious at a point why it happens. |

chudez0147: You are funny looking that why. You resemble Rango 😂 Lol. But really, my situation is like Rango’s. It’s like I’m in Dirt Town and everyone thinks I’m from “The West”. |

doncartel: Look at the bright side, you’re a natural celebrity! Naturally noticeable. If you know how much content creators will like to be like you.
In short, just start doing content and cash out. Thanks for this. I was thinking of content creation. |

kpankpangolo: I even thought you were a female, hence the height thing. If you are male, maybe you live in Sango Ota. I know tall in that area is around 5’10. Only a few grow to 6’0. Go and work on yourself and your confidence will grow. When that happens, the stares will be continuous reassurance that you’re doing things right. No, I don’t live in Sango-Otta. And it applies to any part of Nigeria I visit. |

RealityKings1: Maybe they observe something you and them can't see. They can feel it, but they just don't understand it Maybe. I feel it is something closely related to what you just described. But I am still curious to find out more about whatever it is. |

I have noticed that people stare at me a lot when I am outside. And no, I am not overacting. Sometimes, I consciously observe others around me and notice that they barely get stared at the way I do. These stares sometimes come with flashes of benevolent smiles from random strangers. Sometimes, the smiles are those types someone give when they have something to say but choose not to say it.
I sometimes think it is because of my height, because I am about 6’2-6’3 (I’ve never measured my height by the way). But the trend continues even when I’m seated, and hard to measure my height. A teen girl and her friend were staring at me the other day, while I was walking, that one almost got hit by a keke napep.
Even children walking by stare at me. Sometimes with a smile, and other times, with eyes of curiosity. I have no physical disability or defect by the way.
I am male, dark-skinned in complexion, and 28 years old. Is this normal? Does anyone experience same? Any possible reason why it happens? |
